AIBU to think Farage should answer to voters, not media scrutiny?

Don’t you think it is disgraceful that a man of the people like Farage just needs to take a few bribes from foreign donors and swerve electoral law and the mainstream media are all over it. Why do they not let the electorate decide whether he is corrupt or not? The great and informed people of Clacton obviously decided that he was a wonderful MP and represented their interests and made the place thrive like it was before Brexit and they wanted a continuation of becoming great again which is why they voted Nigel back in.

I don't "hate" anyone and you give yourself away with your use of "leftie" there are as a supposed insult. People are allowed to vote for who they like.
How is this ok though?! Someone who bangs on about "foreign interference" (Brexit, anyone?) and then this hits the headlines 😕

Well, Farage isn't a half-decent politician, is he?

His political instinct was to claim that Liz Truss' budget was "the best Tory budget since Thatcher"; we all know how that turned out.

He also wanted to be straight in there invading Iran for no purpose whatsoever, until he realised the entire general public was against it.

His political instinct was to take a £5 million bribe from a foreign interference. And then, to distract from that, he launched a publicity stunt driven by the election because he thought that was going to stop the parliamentary investigation, without seemingly realising it would continue.

So please tell me. What political instincts does he have that are positive? That are PROVEN to work and uplift everyone in this country? Because from what I can see, every single piece of policy he's come out with has been focused on taking something away from people, or making life harder for people.

@Smokeywater Farage is already in Parliament as MP for Clacton. Mind you, I can see why you wouldn't know that, given that he is never in Parliament or in Clacton.

Please point to any politician who is doing a good job
to add doing a good job not just vaguely waffling about the great things they will do -I’m pretty sure the electorate have a good idea what needs done

Well, immigration, asylum hotel use and small boat crossings are substantially down under this government, which is pretty good.
