That is a level headed response. I agree it’s hard to get past the initial disgust. I think they’re revolting myself. It’s a bit too close to necrophilia or a date rape victim for my comfort.
But it does enter a very grey area when we start trying to control what sex aides people can use in the privacy of their own homes. A dildo is a penis replica after all. Would it be weirder attached to a male doll, in my opinion yes, but the counter argument would be taking a specific part of the anatomy and creating a sex toy from this is further objectification.
I have to check my own sexism and bias towards this topic. I wouldn’t judge a woman using a vibrator in the same way I would a man using a flesh light.
Overall, there needs to be more research into the impact of sex dolls negative or otherwise before we scrap them altogether.
