£610 a week pension demand is insane

Just read that there is an online petition doing the rounds for a £610 a WEEK pension demand to the government.
WTAF? Is the heat melting some peoples brains? It seems over 5000 have signed it.
Where do they think the money is coming from?

I actually live in a village. We don't have a litter problem.

The ones where people just chuck their rubbish on the street? Really nice...

There's a park at the end of my street where there are a group of pensioners who litter pick, pick up the goose sh*t and arrange events for the locality. My own aunt who's 96 worked in a local charity shop until she was 89. Stop demonising all pensioners. It's ridiculous.

And another thing. I'll bet it sure as hell isn't the pensioners doing the littering!

And another thing while you've got me peed off...those friends of the park raised funds to have a sensory garden built which was trashed and had to be replanted
And the oldies didn't trash it either. Pack it in with the discrimination of the elderly.

And there she is..gone . What's up with these complainers who come on, stir the pot and leave? They just strange.

None of us ever worked, paid a mortgage or brought up children though. We just appeared as pensioners out of the blue obviously.

Imagine scraping the barrel bottom to find something to moan about and coming up with litter picking....bloody oldies never do that. Jesus Christ.

Er, you’re the one quoting me! Plus it doesn’t happen everywhere. It happens in places where people are anti social litterers.

You know what? I wasn't even thinking of organised volunteering when I said other ways of contributing to society.
I was thinking of being neighbourly, caring for others, helping out with people less able, being kind, being sociable, helping our at your kids school, not dropping litter (🙄), being a good citizen and creating a caring society.
That's contributing just as much as paying your taxes.
I haven't worked all my life, so there ya go! Ive only worked for 30 years and 20 of those were part time. ( Bernard will be seething!)
But I have a clear conscience drawing my pension, even though as I've said I agree the present system isn't sustainable.

Get the money off the rich t@*ts at the top of the tree.
