AIBU to feel upset he prioritised friends over seeing me?

So been seeing someone for two years ish. He cancelled seeing me yesterday and offered next Wednesday instead. AIBU to be upset . He had a busy week and won’t cancel his other plans with friends this weekend to see me

How often does he see these friends? Are they doing something special, a gig, meal, show etc booked in advance? How often do you see each other?

When did he last see you/friends? Does he do this often? Not enough info basically

He sees these friends twice a week and nothing special. We normally do 3 nights a week

Last saw me Thursday. Last saw friends Wednesday

Well sounds like he is always going to find his friends more interesting than you even uf he sees them all the time. Two years into a relationship I would want my partner to still be very excited to see me and prefer that to oub night.

I would just cut back to a single midweek date snd start seriously looking for a romantic partner for the weekends.

Why would you expect him to cancel seeing his friends to see you when that was arranged first? It’s sad that you missed seeing him but I wouldn’t expect him to cancel a pre arranged meet up with friends to see me.
