Please I’m really struggling to find some
Gifts for my male line manager. He’s in his 40’s. Made redundant. I’m getting a nice bottle of wine but need other things to add to the collection. Please help. He’s been so lovely to me.

Box of chocolates or artisan liquorice
Flowers
Something to do with one of his interests or hobbies.
Gardening: A Gardena trowel and some flower seeds.
Biking: A good water bottle
Trekking: a map of walking routes

My colleagues are saying the only criteria is to make the gifts as embarrassing as possible so he has to carry it on the bus and when he opens it in front of everyone! Not weird embarrassing but like I think they mean cringe. Like massive bouquet of flowers, balloons. What else can I add?

He is literally the nicest guy I have ever met. He’s so fair and considerate. I want him to leave with a smile on his face and know he was respected

I'd go restaurant voucher, John Lewis voucher or something nice for the garden (providing he has one).
Agree that balloons are such a rubbish present...useless and just end up in the bin after a week.

Decent travel mug, quality coffee set, nice biscuits, interesting socks (I’m sure there’s a company that sells socks in threes so you don’t have a pair!)
