Christian Horner is rumoured to be joining the F1 paddock again

For those who don’t know, he’s the disgraced former Red Bull Racing boss who left in the middle of a scandal last year, following allegations of sexual harassment towards a female member of staff.

He left with a pay out of £80 million and has now apparently opened the door to work with another team.

AIBU to be really fucked off as a female F1 fan? I know that money rules the world, but why on earth should he be allowed to mistreat women like this and then just stroll into another job like nothing has happened?!

I thought it was investigated and he was found not guilty of anything?

Red bull carried out their own investigation. Hardly impartial, he was paid £80 million to go, she was paid £3 million to leave and drop her allegations.

Well it’s not indycar related and thankfully, it’s not Horner back. Piastri is apparently considering leaving McLaren!

You only have to read Suzy Wolff’s book to know that there are certain people in F1 who think they can take whatever they want. She had a very unpleasant & scary encounter with someone I’m guessing she’s not allowed to name.

This.

Given that Flávio Briatore is back in the paddock after organising actual cheating (including a staged crashed, which is so incredibly dangerous regardless of any planning) it’s not surprising imo that Horner will be back.

There are zero morals in F1 when it comes to earning money.

I think the nail in the coffin for Horner was when he was booed at the event at the O2. They all seemed surprised and I think red bull’s sponsors would’ve been extremely unhappy about it.

I’m not sure he’ll get much of a gig anywhere in F1, his best bet is a brand new team or manufacturer who need investment.

Last I heard was CH was potentially moving to MotoGP.

Oh my goodness!! I was asleep after my last post and just woke up to this. I recon if this happens Max will jump ship to McLaren. Might need a new top !!

I think they’ll swap, or Max will be off to endurance racing. He’s been very vocal about not liking the direction of the sport the last few years and I can’t say I blame him!

Buxton’s teaser has now been revealed, and it turns out to be a remarkable transfer in IndyCar. “In easily the biggest news of an Indycar driver signing since Mansell left F1 for Newman Haas at the end of 92, maybe since Foyt decided to race for himself 60 years ago, McLaren has poached 6 time champion, Hall of Famer and candidate for Greatest of All Time Scott Dixon from Ganassi. 2026 Indy 500 winner Felix Rosenqvist will join him alongside Pato O Ward with the objective being to deliver the Indy 500 component of the Triple Crown for Zak Brown. Both Dixon and Rosenqvist join on multi year deals,”

Despite rumors that Oscar Piastri has informed McLaren of his desire to terminate his contract, both the driver and the team have publicly denied an imminent exit.
Stella has emphatically denied claims that the Australian is set to leave the McLaren, citing the stability in the team since 2023.

You aren’t a formula one fan if you think that your summary accurately covers what has happened

Again absolutely inaccurate. He wasn’t paid to go because of the ‘scandal’ - he was cleared, and left a long time later for an unrelated reason, and was paid out of his contract as is required when it is terminated early
