AIBU to be shocked at this Primark email?

Just received this email from Primark and was taken aback by the model. Surely this is way too explicit to send to customers?

I think we need to have a go fund me to send the poor lad to Lourdes...he's deformed

have you checked that it actually is from Primark and its not a faked address. You can make emails look like they are coming from anywhere. I don't usually post AI but this is a very clear explanation.

Follow these steps to view the headers and find the source:

As suggested by a previous poster if you Google Primark Green Embroiderd top the search results show this picture as well as a similarly weird one of him stood up.

Click on "visit"and it takes you to the Primark website where it says "sorry not found". It is the Primark website - you can navigate to other menus.

I think it's a prank photoshop but was on the website/in an advert.

It's definitely from Primark. I'm on their mailing list and got the same email last night, but just deleted it when I saw it was about mens clothes. I didn't notice anything odd about the photo.

Now after a couple of PP very kindly explained it, I know what everyone is talking about at least - but to me, it really just looks like a fold in the shorts. It doesn’t look like a dick because otherwise it would be growing out of his thigh rather than his groin!

She doesn't need to do this. It's not a scam. The picture is also on the Primark website. It is exactly the same. It hasn't been photoshopped, either by a scammer or OP. It's so clearly a trick of the light that I can't believe people are being so ridiculous. Catalogue photos don't tend to be taken by high end photographers and editing staff don't appear to have much time to do their job, either.
