To ask for body lotion recommendations?

I’ve almost finished my beloved Sanctuary Spa wet skin body lotion. I’d like to try something different, does anyone have any recommendations please?

Aveeno, nothing makes my skin as soft. I hate the ugly bottle, not as nice as many other brands.

Depends if you’re looking for a nice smell, or effectiveness?

I’ve just gone back to the yellow Vaseline after about 20 years. Absorbs really quickly, works well.

Palmers Cocoa Butter

Palmers Coconut is lovely.
I can’t stand the smell of the Cocoa Butter one.

Nivea coconut & monoi oil body lotion.
Neutrogena body lotion.

Aveeno for me

I love naturium and josie maran. I also like eos which I buy when I’m in the US.

Does it need to be a lotion or can it be a butter? Highly recommend Saltair body butter from Space NK, vanilla is my favourite.

I saw the title of your thread and came on to recommend the Sanctuary Spa wet skin moisturiser!

I agree with the others that Aveeno is great for just moisturising, especially if you have dry skin but if you’re looking for something more elevated that is a treat to use I would recommend L’occitane ultra rich body cream.

I like Weleda, lots of types/scent so can choose one to suit, good natural ingredients. My favourite though is the lavender body oil on slightly damp skin (not a body lotion though!).

The garnier body lotion in a red bottle is incredible. Caroline Hirons recommends it too so high praise. Doesn’t have much of a scent but makes my skin SO soft and hydrated.

Aveeno is tested on animals so I won’t touch it. I use palmers oil on wet skin. Oil on damp skin is the best moisturiser you can use, if I’m feeling bougie i use my shimmering oil from l’occitane.

Not animal friendly though.

For me it’s Body Love by Tropic Skincare. Natural ingredients, no animal testing of any kind and makes the skin so soft and hydrated. Not cheap but a little goes a long way and totally worth it to me.

Dove pro-age niacinamide. Not fancy, no particular scent, but a great moisturiser, dries quickly and is cheap as chips, so happy to slather it on.

I just looked into this one. Apparently there’s a vanilla version too, have you tried that one?
