Maybe, but they don't really want to stop stupid westeners from going there to spend bags of cash on tacky, inane nonsense. They don't care a jot about her life, i'm sure, but they do care about money. Countries like that will always bend their 'high morals' for a bit of tidy cash.

Vegas is another example. Run by Mormons who live by a strict moral code; don't drink, don't use sex workers, and don't gamble.. quite happy to actively encorage it and profit from it tho.
