Preferably one with a straw? Yet again my bottle has leaked all over my stuff
Thanks very much!

Yeti

Fancy lids with straws etc are the problem. Either they don't work properly and drip or you accidentally don't close it properly. I go screw top. DS has a couple of cheap plastic ones from Lidl for school. I like the aluminium camping ones that you can get anywhere.

I just have a steel one from Amazon, think it was a tenner. Never leaked. amzn.eu/d/0dsKoGy6

Nalgene water bottle every time. No straw though, those tend to leak in my experience

Wonderknicks · 24/06/2026 11:27

My friend swears by the ocean ones (made from recycled plastic from the sea) but they are expensive

Carnationsareforever · 24/06/2026 11:34

ION8 ones have never let me down

Smoll · 24/06/2026 11:43

wonderful. I'll look through all these suggestions. Perhaps I have to abandon the straw. Easier for the gym than screw cap though

No straw but ninja thirsti is great

toastofthetown · 24/06/2026 11:49

I’m obsessed with my Owala. The way the straw is designed is really comfortable to bring from, and it’s covered in your bag so doesn’t get dirty

Ion 8- you can buy straws separately for them if you want.... Never had one leak yet...
I prefer the ninja thirsti- as the ice seems to not melt as quickly....

jeaux90 · 24/06/2026 12:13

Hydroflask it’s amazing various caps I prefer the twist top.

AmIReallyTheGrownup · 24/06/2026 12:14

Same. I love my Owala.

takealettermsjones · 24/06/2026 12:15

There aren't any. Find a new dream. 🤣

Lieben · 24/06/2026 12:28

I’ve got a Stanley Ice flow and a Sho newt, neither leak.

Scarlettpixie · 24/06/2026 12:29

The Sho ones are good in my experience. I have had a few unbranded ones of Amazon which weren't supposed to leak but did.

the straws are the issue. Steel with twist cap are the most reliable as long as rubber inside lid doesn’t perish… also keep water cold

bugalugs45 · 24/06/2026 13:55

I’ve got a sho , 100% recommend , comes with a straw , think it’s called a guzzler ? best £20 I’ve ever spent

Aparecium · 24/06/2026 20:28

I have a Contigo Ashland. The spout locks and has never leaked, even when tumbled about in my bag.

I really like the fact that the handle is also a carabiner, so I can clip it to my small bag and have free hands.
