Preferably one with a straw? Yet again my bottle has leaked all over my stuff
Thanks very much!

Hydroflask with the straw lid attachment. They’re about £35 for the standard ones but worth every penny. Ours have lasted years and we have multiple ones and they’ve never leaked. Great at keeping liquid cool too.

SnoopyDuke · 25/06/2026 11:06

I use Sistema water bottles but don't have a straw.
They have a flip up lid and have never leaked

Available on Amazon

ForRedPoet · 25/06/2026 11:08

Nalgene here. Expensive attachments but only one 8 have ever had that has been dropped and abused and still doesn't leak.

SquigglePigs · 25/06/2026 11:21

We have a mixture of Sho and Antler bottles and have had no problems with either.

The Sho aren't straws but they have a flip lid with a clip to keep them closed, so probably best if you're throwing them in a gym bag.

Busybeemumm · 25/06/2026 11:56

Super Sparrow (Amazon). Water stays cold all day and come with straw and cap tops.

mindutopia · 25/06/2026 11:57

I have a Yeti flask. No straw, but it’s fantastic. Never leaks and very well made. Keeps drinks cold for 12+ hours.

PShelp · 25/06/2026 12:49

Super sparrow are the best we've found and do a good range of sizes

FriendlyGreenAlien · 25/06/2026 12:53

I’m very tempted by the Sho Guzzler. I have too many water bottles really but if it’s genuinely leakproof AND dishwasher safe it might be the holy grail.

Smoll · 25/06/2026 13:26

thank you everyone - I will look up all suggestions and i will report back too when I have bought one

Chilly’s. They’re amazing, I’ve had mine for a good few years now

AirborneElephant · 25/06/2026 13:37

I have a yeti with a straw lid Not the lightest, but keeps drinks really cold, zero condensation and bombproof lid.

BridgetJonesV2 · 25/06/2026 13:40

We've got a cupboard full of Yeti ones - thermals for coffee, and cold drink ones with straws and they're bombproof. Never had one leak.

NannyR · 25/06/2026 13:43

Sho Newt - it's a bit pricey but it's a really good bottle, option of straw or normal lid, never leaked, keeps drinks really cold and you can use it for fizzy drinks too.

AtLeastIDidntUseASpoon · 25/06/2026 14:21

I love my air up twist pro bottle. It has an inbuilt straw and doesn’t seem to leak. You don’t have to use the pods.

billandtedsexcellentadventure · 25/06/2026 14:27

Ion8

Yeti!

TheAnnoyingSatsuma · 25/06/2026 14:37

Owala Free Sip. Amazing if you can find one in the UK. Urban Outfitters sell them. Just came top of. Guardian product test. DD has one.

Tarkan · 25/06/2026 14:40

I’ve got a Stanley ice flow. I can just throw it in a bag when I’m going out and it can bounce around even with notebooks or my Chromebook and I’ve never had a drop spill on anything.

Kim5678 · 25/06/2026 18:09

I have a Camelbak Eddy. It has a straw and a bite valve so it doesn’t need a hard lid to prevent it leaking. Probably a bit less popular as its plastic but I find metal ones very heavy

OrangeJellySnakes · 25/06/2026 18:12

I almost needed 2 hands to lift that yeti!

Beebopwasthebest · 25/06/2026 18:14

I have a metal screw top one with a straw from Botl.

It sometimes lies horizontally on my car seat (too wide for cupholder). Hasn't leaked yet.

thepurplepenguin · 25/06/2026 18:18

Stanley ice flow flip straw here as well. The holy grail of water bottles.

PurpleDragon19 · 25/06/2026 18:19

another vote for ION8, we bought the straws too and DD uses hers for school :)

deeahgwitch · 25/06/2026 18:38

Sistema Hydrate Wave bottle doesn’t leak.
You don’t need a straw.
They can be washed in the upper shelf of a dishwasher so I change the bottle and lid every day.
However the twist up lid can malfunction so I have ended up with about 10 bottles and five lids. They don’t sell spare lids. Feckers.
From time to time always check the lid of any water bottle as gunge bacteria can collect in them.

MamaBobo · 25/06/2026 21:20

Sistema with a flip lid and drink spout. Best water bottle I’ve had, never leaks, no nooks and crannies to get full of bacteria, dishwasher safe. What’s not to love?
