I think the study she’s referring to found that domestic violence also increased when England won, just less so. She really is gormless.

Good lord, what an awful woman. Surely she meant to say "Domestic violence increases when England loose, so men, stop abusing your partners"....

If DV increases after any England ge regardless of result surely she should be telling them to lose so they don't make the next round.

From what I can see, she's saying a football team is not responsible for DV following a football match. The perpetrator is to blame.

I can't see a problem with this and it is true, DV does increase after a win/lose match

So, unless I have completely misinterpreted her comment, what is the problem?
