The vile left. Grin

"They wouldn't let us be racist whaaa Sad"

Your post might resemble a gotcha if Brighton didn't already have racists. Were you one of the door knockers telling Brighton residents to boycott Israeli goods? I'd love to know how you square intimidating Jewish people with fighting against racism.

You misunderstand (not for the first time Blossom). Students in general (there are exceptions) seem to want mass immigration, they protest regularly all over. Brighton is full of them. I said locals (not including students) don't seem to want mass immigration.. But you knew that. At least, I hope you did..

So why does the section of the population which is statistically most likely to be sexually assaulted “want mass immigration”? You seem to misunderstand that not wanting right wing rioters in the town where you live isn’t the same thing as wanting mass immigration.

southerngirl10 · 14/06/2026 16:51

I think Brighton should heed the warning these protestors have been trying to alert them to. A lot of them are peaceful, non-Tommy Robinson types who live in areas where asylum seekers and refugees have been forced onto them. Unlike Brighton and Hove where there would be uproar if they should suddenly see the same quota.

The protestors are sending a more affluent part of the world a message - I think Brighton (and Hove actually) would do well to listen to it.

Of course not. Intimidating Jewish families is disgusting.

But that reach was impressive. Well done.

Brighton is welcome to all the refugees if they want them so much.

My daughter has to walk past a hotel that houses refugees on her way to college. Every day there are disgusting sexual comments shouted at girls by the refugee men who stand around smoking in large groups. Girls that aren’t in large group with lads have been approached and inappropriately touched.

I don’t want them here, send them to Brighton, if Brighton are so keen to have them.

Edited

This is a great idea! Win/win! House all the people arriving on boats in Brighton! I’m sure many of the locals would love to open up their homes to them and there are plenty of hotels that could be used.

Maybe they would listen to them had they not seen supporters of the same cause setting fire to people’s homes earlier in the week. Of course it would help if these people attempted to create a dialogue instead of just piling into someone else’s town.

Have you seen the names the anti-immigration lot have called us on here? One said we are all disgusting, have blood on our hands, have ruined lives and are worse than rapists.

That’s not names, they are accusations - are they from one poster?

And no, I haven’t seen that - can you tell me which page they are on?

When is Starmer going to create dialogue instead of appeasing his main voter base? Somebody else's town? Are we in john Wayne territory now?

Ah here it is. Interesting. And not at all surprising. I await 'but the daily fail' comment with eager anticipation (not really).

'REVEALED: How shadowy unit of government 'thought police' set up by ex-MI6 agent is trying to keep a lid on Britain's simmering racial tensions

The name of the secretive Government propaganda unit trying to manipulate events makes it sound like an innocuous back-office operation – the Research, Information and Communications Unit, or RICU.

But the dull moniker is part of the deliberate camouflage of an outfit which uses deception and skulduggery to try to manage the 'challenges' of multiculturalism.

Its techniques range from planting stories in the media, using undercover operatives to lay flowers at the scene of terrorist attacks and even, in one case, sending a pop group to sing anti-extremist songs in Muslim schools.

The source said that the unit had also been advising the police in Southampton following the horrific murder of Henry Nowak by Vickrum Digwa – who falsely claimed he had been racially abused and had acted in self-defence – saying: 'RICU made sure that the liaison team dealing with the family were well briefed.'

It has also been claimed that the unit intervenes to write statements by the families of victims of potentially racially linked incidents to stop them from inflaming tensions further with their remarks.

The source said: 'You can see their fingerprints all over the statements released by the families of victims in these volatile situations – they usually have a similar tone.'

[After the London Bridge attack] RICU's undercover operatives handed out flowers in the area, with the aim of perpetuating an atmosphere of 'grief' rather than anti-Muslim 'anger'.

A team in an unmarked van is also understood to have toured the area plastering the walls with posters bearing hashtags such as #TurnToLove, #ForLondon and #LoveWillWin.

Similarly, after the British aid worker Alan Henning was decapitated by Islamic State in Syria in 2014, RICU used a specially created 'front operation' to plant an image of a woman in a Union Jack hijab in the media. '

How shadowy government unit is trying to keep lid on racial tensions

The 22-strong unit was established in 2007 by the late Charles Farr, a former MI6 officer, as part of the Prevent counter-terrorism strategy.

That was a handful of idiots. Most of the so-called 'far right' protestors are lovely, law abiding people who are sending a message - we don't want to live next to so many refugees/ asylum seekers.

The answer is simple - as people have been trying to tell you and others on this forum. Give the asylum seekers/refugees to Brighton.

No, I thought not. It's ok for Brighton to protest when these people are not in their backyard. If the immigrants came in the same numbers as the midlands and north, these same protestors would be marching along the other side of the street!

Thanks for posting that. I was shot down when I said Lee Rigby and Henry Nowak family's call for peace were contrived. What's worse is this was picked up and run with by Starmer. He makes me sick.

Yep. Makes me sick too. Since the beginning. He's only got worse. I didn't want him or Labour in power but even I never imagined they'd be This terrifyingly inept and frankly, dangerous.

No it's not mostly locals - its mostly the students. And they'd all have moved on leaving crap in their wake. As I said above most Brighton locals don' seem to agree with the ongoing protest by students and the unemployed.

Three pictures of men's faces up close. They all have brown eyes.

Three men guilty of 'callous' Brighton beach rape

The men, who are all asylum seekers, had denied targeting the woman in the early hours of October 4.

There is the founder guy who faces murder charges who might need some extra money support

I can't remember seeing any protests in his home town

The operational part here being ‘he faces murder charges’, not ‘he was disbelieved and left to die because of the colour of his skin’.

Or ‘they groomed and repeatedly raped many girls and threatened their families but have still not been prosecuted for *reasons’.

Why would there be protests when our justice system is working properly? The protests come when it isn’t but the government pretends that it is.

Depends on what immigration are you objecting to and why.

When you set fire to immigrant accommodation then you are likely to be racist.

Can you just clarify how wide you are casting your negative generalisation here?

Some houses in Northern Ireland were set on fire but now you are using that to smear everyone in the UK with opinions on immigration that don’t align with yours? Have I got that right?

That image with the laughing is disturbing. And this

The woman said to police the men laughed as they kicked her and grabbed her throat during the rape - leaving her with bruises.

Al-Danasurt was accused of spitting in the woman's face while recording the attack.
