Why are some people saying 'so what it's just a nipple'? It basically looks like one of her tits is out on display - which would be a really weird bikini.for someome tp wear. I agree with OP, although it's more than just nipple it's the whole areola and breast.

But surely it’s obvious that it’s not her nipple, as who the fuck would buy a bikini where one whole breast is fully exposed? So I can see that people will look at it and say ‘oh look, the shine makes it look like a nipple’, but not that they’ll look at it and say ‘oh look, that model has her breast out’.

Eh? Not sure what your point is. I wouldn’t buy the bikini, it’s not very nice, so that wouldn’t happen. But anyone who does buy the bikini would know that in certain lights (ie under the the glare of artificial studio lights) it could look like their nipple is showing, and therefore they’d be fine with that? Chances are the image has been photoshopped anyway.
Im just a bit baffled that people apparently thought it was actually a bikini that was completely cupless on one side.

I don’t see a bare boob. I see a truly awful photo that’s been photoshopped lots but badly. The top doesn’t cover the boob the same way on each boob. Model is standing weird and some of her proportions are out of whack.

Because Debenhams wouldn't retake the photo if one side was mesh/see through to show one nipple. You would want to know that before buying the bikini.

If you can't see why it might be a problem to look like you were wearing a 'topless' bikini then there's no point in discussing it with you.

I’m honestly struggling to see what your point is and I’m genuinely interested. Anyone buying the bikini after seeing it on that advert would know that it might make it look like you can see their nipples (maybe, because I’m fairly sure that effect is photoshopped), so they wouldn’t have an issue with it?

I cannot "unsee" a clear cup with an exposed breast, but I do realise it is obviously an illusion. Bit like the famous picture - can you see a young lady or an old witch. I can never see both.
