AIBU to tell DH after BiL frightened me at the window?

I’d just gone into the kitchen to make a coffee and saw a blokes face squashed up against the glass of the kitchen window with all his teeth exposed. I screamed instinctively and threw my mug at the window. He pulled away and I realised it was BiL who was now laughing his head off. I went out and started shouting at him which he responded to by pulling stupid faces at me. I told him to fuck off and I called my sister to tell her what he’d done to which she said he was a prick but asked me not to tell DH as she doesn’t want an atmosphere on holiday!

AIBU to think I should tell him what dickhead has done now??

Just leave your bike in his hallway indefinitely OP, that'll teach him!

Ohhh it's that poster?

Yes OP, I would tell DH. Any man willing to purposely scare a woman like that is not a good person to be around.

Hope there are no crows where they’re going 😂

Most people would be tempted to scare a friend if they could? I can't think of anyone who would.

Halloween? That’s most people. Just those with a sense of humour do a friendly scare at other times of the year too.

Fair enough! I wouldn't seriously frighten someone at Halloween either but clearly some people are fine with it.
