Usual bandwagon crap in the USA - the far right have coopted what they claim to be Norse and Viking imagery therefore the perception has become that that entirety of Scandinavian history is problematic.

I think it's cool. People played by different rules a thousand years ago and the Vikings were epic. Not as epic as Afred the Great though. They should be proud of where they come from.

Yes, v. problematic. I thought the same when Morten Harkett turned up as a Viking on Masked Singer. (I didn't. Bloody gorgeous).

They look great. Vikings are a major part of their history, and ours in England too.
I think they should be proud, and there’s nothing wrong with dressing up like a Viking regardless of ancestry. Or the runes, which were in use in Viking times and beyond.

It's a cool aesthetic, made popular recently by that TV programme. If the Norwegian Football squad actually start pillaging, that's where someone needs to intervene sharpish.
