To ask what the age ranges of your friends are

Did have a friend 7 year older but fell out currently they are between three years older to six year younger (only one is that much younger)

I'm 46, and my oldest friends from school and uni are the same age (obviously!) but since then I've made great friends with people aged from 26 (and fellow teacher) to 75 (my wonderful book club friends). I'm a teacher so lots of the people i work with are younger, I don't see age as a barrier :)

I’m mid 30s and my youngest friend is 22 and my oldest friend is late 50s. A lot from a hobby where you see lots of different ages

Whe. I was 17 I had loads of friends who were 20 or 30 years older. Find it odd now though, I'd have nothing in common with a 17 year old.

All of my close friends are within four years of my age. It’s just the way it’s worked out. I have recently made a friend who is 8 years older.

I'm 60s, I have friends in lots of different age groups. I have close male and female friends. Most connections are from work (past and present) and church plus a few from when DC school days.

Most close friends are between 50 and 65, but a close colleague who is very much on the same wavelength is mid 40s

I'm 51. My youngest friend is 30 and my eldest is 73.

My closest friends are 34, 39, 46, 61 and 73.

Almost a seventy year span of friends. Youngest 22, eldest 90.

From 11 years younger to 25 years older.

I’m 41. Youngest friend: 25. Oldest friend: 70-something. Like, I have I guess a core group of friends around my own age(ish) but then different people in different interest groups who span all ages.

Between 52 and 88. I'm 67.

I’m 44. My youngest friend I think is 36 and my oldest is 80! I don’t think I’d go much younger for friends than that. I definitely have more in common with my 80 year old friend than anyone under 30 I think.

This year I have beenon weekends away for a 33rd birthday, 40, 50 and 60th all good friends. I am 52. I have some younger and older friends (32 and 63) but they are not all that close.

I’m 53, my youngest friend just turned 30 (gay man, I’m a straight female) and my oldest is mid 60s. My friends from eg uni are pretty much my age, but I tend to meet friends of different ages through different jobs I’ve had.

My other little bestie is my cat who’s three.

I'm 45. My true friends span early 30's to late 60's but there are plenty of people younger and older who I also get on well with.

I'm 54 my oldest friend is 70, I'm struggling with her atm - I am having health problems but it seems to her, we are in competition - everytime I mention my pain she minimises it by saying wait till you are 70, then you'll know (I don't doubt she has issues but it doesn't mean mine are less than hers) and then she gets annoyed that I get a test/treatment when I'm younger than her! I'm not sure I can be friends with her going forward and it's quite a crushing thought. I have pulled back from the friendship, stopped sharing my health worries because who needs to be minimised?

Im in my 40s, my friends range from late twenties to mid sixties although my closest friends are similar ages to me. Personally I enjoy having friends of all ages, sexes and backgrounds for diversity of thought and perspectives, though my close friends are close because of common life stages, child ages and cultural references so I guess its easier to form closer bonds where there is more to relate to

I am 47, my oldest friend is 57 and youngest is 27. The three of us go on holidays and gave a blast!

I'm 42. I have a large number of casual friends but very few close friends.
Casual friends are across a very wide age as they're mostly from amateur performing arts - the ones I know well enough/see enough to call friends range from age 24 - 66.
Close friends are mostly 40-45 with a couple of outliers at 26 and 58.

In in my late 50s. My friends range from 26 to 92.

I'm 62. My youngest friend is 33,I also have a friend of 50,a friend who is 55,and my very best friend is the same age as me.
