This is an insult isn’t it?

If a man said:

’I would much rather talk with you and have a conversation with you than have sex with you. But I wouldn’t choose talking to you over having sex. I would choose having sex with another woman over talking with you.’

That is a back-handed insult isn’t it? The first bit sounds fine, until it’s followed up by the second part. Is there any way that could be construed differently?

Not backhanded at all! He very clearly, bluntly set out where you sit in his order of priorities! I can only assume he was trying to let you know he doesn't see a relationship with you, but there could have been a less blunt way to say it!

It's problematic if you're having sex with him because he's telling you he'd rather have sex with other women than you.

It's problematic if you're not having sex with him because why is he talking about sex with you, much less trying to neg you using sex.

Block. Tell him to stfu.Tell him you choose the bear. That seems to rile up dudes that act like this.
