Is this really that unusual? Leggings debate

My two besties have just left mine. Amongst the copious amounts of wine, we somehow got onto the subject of what we wear under leggings. As I thought was normal, my friend and I said we don’t wear anything, much to our others friend’s amazement! The leggings are tight enough without anything else 😂

Are we just weirdo’s or are you with us two?

Whats tightness got to do with it? So nothing under skin tight jeans?.

The seams are in the ‘wrong’ place (hence the chafing). Means any fluids are not held in by double gusset fabric and more likely to seep. (just my opinion obvs)

So would it be unhygienic to wear pants and a skirt. I mean, that’s only one layer of fabric between your vulva and the rest of the unsuspecting world!! Or would I need to wear two pairs of pants to make sure?

When I wear tights I wear two pairs of undies. One on the inside as normal and one on the outside to stop them falling down 🤣

How do you and your pal feel about that one?

I wear pants under my pyjamas so I am clearly not going to be your target market here.

I suppose if wearing them once then ok? Same as my PJ's, I only wear them once.
I didn't wear them in my teens because I suffered idiopathic cystitis too much and got too hot with knickers and leggings which made it worse. But I only wore leggings under a dress or skirt, no bum on show.

I think it might be more to do with the material why it feels unhygienic.

1. Tight against area
2. Some leggings show sweat patches so feels a bit iffy
3. If you are wearing them to workout then it feels like they are going to be getting extra sweaty
4. Some leggings are quite see through especially when squatting/bending

Are you saying the plump friend would or wouldn't wear knickers?

I kinda question the friends size being brought up at all tbh 🤔

No knickers under leggings which are washed every wear.
knickers under everything else and another pair over tights
knickers in bed also and under Panama bottoms
just not with leggings

also, sitting in chairs at work, cafe etc, one normally has more than one thin layer between the chair and the squidge.

I don't see the issue with wearing no underwear with leggings, you're gonna wash them anyway.

It would totally depend on how I feel that day tbh. Sometimes leggings can be quite thin and can show the knicker line. But otherwise no one knows or cares, surely?

If it was a pair of those ultra tight scrunch bum leggings, worn without any pants, and your body unexpectedly 'took a screenshot' when you were convinced it was only going to be a powerful cough and nothing equivalent from further south, it would be saints preserve us and Goodnight, Vienna with no survivors at all.

Seamless underwear is best. But I like my butt to be covered when wearing leggings, I'm not a fan of it all being on show 😅

I do wear undies underneath but I can’t see why going commando is a problem though if you don’t plan on wearing them multiple days.

See. In lockdown I embraced a no underwear lifestyle after reading about the benefits of it.
I must say it was unbelievably liberating. And after a few weeks your body reduces the discharge produced.
Once lockdowns ended I think it took me a few months to start wearing underwear again 🤣🤣 and that was because I had a people facing role and I was paranoid about rips 🫠
Sometimes now I'll go pantless and it feels so much nicer than pants and jeans or pants and leggings.
Don't knock it til you've tried it. And the benefits are genuine.
