For the last month we have been sent messages email, background screens and management briefings for a particular religion.

the following messages to

”showing visible support,
encouraging meaningful conversations, and deepening our understanding of the experiences of those of observences”

as well as being told to be considered with meetings etc and thoughtful and supportive!!!

When mockery replaces intelligence, it usually means there wasn’t much intelligence to begin with.

I'm fasting and working. It affects my colleagues in precisely zero ways apart from 1 less coffee on the round in the office.

I have had a few colleagues who have asked me a question or two and it's nice of them to show an interest, and also helps promote understanding and tolerance. But i'm not offended by anyone not asking, just go about your day.

So ask or don't ask. Your employer opening the conversation is a good thing for most, but you are not expected to participate. Just carry on with your day 💁‍♀️
