Blood tests all clear, IBS constipation type suspected. Probiotics recommended.

m My stomach has been fine all day.
Food intake up until dinner time …

porridge oats with honey
Tomatoes and garlic on toast
walkers crisps

all fine … then I had dinner - cottage pie (homemade) with broccoli

I now look 9 months pregnant and I’m in pain. What the hell caused it??

Possibly a silent coeliac? Lactose intolerance?

I can’t have onions, look up foods from the nightshades family 😩

OP, you asked about alternatives to onion and garlic. A lot of people on a low FODMAP use asafoetida - you only need a tiny amount though!

Kefir worked really well for me. Every morning initially, before breakfast. Now I only seem to need it every other day.

Gluten in the toast and/or in the gravy. I can be gluten intolerant - I can cope with a small amount of sourdough bread but the flour in fish pie or in cauliflower cheese will have me up all night with tingling legs and itchy skin.
Separately, I'm fine with cheese, can tolerate a small amount of milk but can't cope with yogurt. Yakult makes me feel ill. I would also suggest you avoid too much tomato and possibly potatoes for a while - they are both in the nightshade family.
