What age was your child when you started being called mum and how did it happen?

When my kids were about 4 and 6 they only called me 'Sir' (military style) for about 6 months straight. I have no idea why! They just thought it was hilarious. So I would take 'mum', 'mother' or even 'bruh' over that.

Reminds me... it must be almost time for barracks inspection...
