It had to happen; in Minneapolis a woman in a car was shouting at the multiple ICE agents. One tried to open her car door, she started to drive away and was shot 2 (3? 4?) times in the head.

Trump is blaming her. Fucking hell.

1. According to witnesses she was deliberately impeding the ICE agents, and she knew who they were.
2. She repeatedly ignored a clear instructions to get out of the car.
3. She escalated the situation by reversing, and then driving directly at someone pointing a gun at her.

I am from a country where terrorism was rife for over 30 years. Guns are banned here for citizens but we live under a constant reminder and threat of it returning. At no time would a normal citizen just be shot at by the police if we just panicked and drove off.

This is murder. And it is FRIGHTENING that some people are dressing it up as anything other than murder.

There is a time coming when if the US government as it stands isn't removed, that someone bigger and more powerful than the USA is going to say ENOUGH. But I don't think that is normal and justified over there as per police training and protocols, given the driver wasn't believed to be armed, shooting her wasn't removing the supposed danger to the ICE officer - if he'd really been standing directly in her path shooting her made it more likely he'd be run over given she'd collapse with her foot on the accelerator - and police aren't supposed to shoot at drivers because it escalates the risk for everyone in the area. It doesn't seem to be part of official ICE training to deviate from that protocol, are they legally allowed to draw weapons and discharge like that? definitely don't think theyd be as quick to behave like that in a carry state like Texas
And getting yourself admitted to hospital - particularly in the States where that is neither easy nor cheap - because of an incident that minor was done to delay questioning imo. I don't believe a police officer would have behaved in that manner during or after the entire incident - or been allowed to disappear like that by his peers and supervisors

And the agent was able to - wild idea I know - move his arms to shoot from the side to hit the windscreen. What is wrong with people today? I am out of here, I really despair of humanity currently in this awful era of identity politics and wilful misinformation to prop up hateful beliefs.

The second and third photos look like he is a little behind her whilst shooting.

Seconds before hand she was seen being extremely courteous to neighbours and other drivers.

But there are posters here that are denying that there was anyone stood in front of the vehicle at all and only two at the side by the drivers door. When as you have clearly seen there is indeed an officer stood in front of the vehicle.

Whether he used reasonable force is an different debate.

Watch the video. The owner of the circled feet fires at the point where his feet are - to the side of the vehicle. Those feet step back and the owner of those feet is clearly seen holding a gun and still firing as the car continues on its trajectory of turning AWAY from him. He was NOT trying to open the door.
