It had to happen; in Minneapolis a woman in a car was shouting at the multiple ICE agents. One tried to open her car door, she started to drive away and was shot 2 (3? 4?) times in the head.

She was CLEARLY clearly leaving and then the agents confronted her she was not aiming for that agent at all. That is CLEAR.He put himself there at the last second told her to stop,and then IMMEDIATELY shot her. @MrsTerryPratchett- she would have to blind not to know she was placing herself in the middle of an ICE operation. Yes protect and serve. They also have the right to protect themselves. If you know anyone who serves as an officer you know they give very clear instructions to ensure the safety of all involved including themselves. In a country where many people carry weapons things can escalate very quickly.

I imagine that if the Home Office were behaving like ICE then Sadiq Khan might well push back on that. I’d hope my mayor would too. Otherwise, allowing their actions and behaviours to go unchecked is changing the whole trajectory of the US and being complicit within your state, that you probably love, in immoral if not illegal state sanctioned acts.
I went on the anti Tommeh March - huge crowds of protesters both sides of the fence, I saw aggression towards some police - no one got shot in the face weirdly, and whilst the US have armed police and more shooting by police in general, and everyone knows this, people used to be allowed to protest there as well.
