I don’t think shes being unreasonable to want to cover her dress until she’s inside the venue especially given the commotion I’ve just seen online of the paparazzi and security trying to get her inside.

don’t really see what the big deal is. So what if people are in black tie? So what if people are outside watching? It’s her wedding not yours

It they were really such an elite as they consider themselves, they wouldn't be selling their wedding photographs to a magazine.

Many years ago my best friend in my mid to late teens used to have the most beautiful black hooded cape with a tassel on the hood .She was a tall slim blonde and looked amazing.

Agree. They've hit the jackpot (selling to a magazine wise) with the Beckhams as guests and a family feud prior to the day, so why not? It's money for basically nothing really. You just need to keep the dress private and pose for some photos, I think most would take up that offer.
I don't mind a cape, but thought this one was badly fitted and in need of sleeves/hand holes so she could use her hands to hold her dad and her husband's arm on arriving and exiting. It looks a bit like a bed sheet without. She is so tiny, so it's unflattering. I love the lace though.

The photos I've seen she appears to be wearing a white satin cloak (a la Red Riding Hood).

It's odd, I get the selling the photos thing if that's what makes them happy but she could have gone for some kind of amazing cape instead of what really does look like a sheet.

This. She looked like she was clutching a bed sheet round her. Sad. A velvet cape - like the one the Princess of Wales wore at the coronation - would have looked so much better. It could have been tied shut so we didn’t get a glimpse of the wedding dress.

I have heard a similar story about him from fellow families who have kids as patients at GOSH - he and his family do a lot of good work there under the radar. I'd take the media stories with a pinch of salt.

Must be a reason they wanted the wedding in bath as I do agree celeb wedding photos with a big ole bus in the background isn’t really the done thing.
