Re him now being a Ramsey - he really has showed himself for who he is.

It’s a very good income for life.

They’re milking the death threats for all they’re worth.

I’ve changed my mind on this one tbf - I get the impression his family have form and he probably knows that better than most

i felt sorry for his mum to begin with but the more that comes out the more unreasonable his family are coming across

rather like Brooklyn - I feel there is justification in going no contact (another family where the parents are putting stories on the press but are too media savvy to be directly connected)

mikado1 · 29/12/2025 10:57

I wonder what VB advice to Tana is.. considering she's the Mrs Peaty, as such, in her similar enough scenario.. I'd have hoped the Ramsays would have offered an olive branch and told Holly and Adam nothing was worth a big blow up over the hen.
I think the aunt was ridiculous going public about the hen disappointment. The mother could have been hurt and complained to her own family and friends and then got on with it like anyone else would. If Holly hadn't been so well known would she have allowed it become such an issue..? It is a shame for her if she has lost her son now. No one comes out to well out of this.

Ah yes, because sending death threats to your brother and his wife isn’t in any way a big deal. On the contrary, it’s a fine wedding tradition practiced by the classiest of families.

Actually, they haven’t milked it at all. The only party that appears to be wringing out the udders when it comes to this, is the Peaty family.

Good for him for changing his name. I can see why he wants to separate himself from the toxicity of his family of origin.

MrsLizzieDarcy · 29/12/2025 12:10

According to the DM today, they've got an exclusive in Vogue for her dress and a Netflix show. When did Vogue become so lowbrow??!

Cancelling Netflix is now much higher on my agenda. The Beckham show was bad enough, then add on this and Meghan Markle... I'm not adding to their spending money, I'd rather set fire to my monthly fee cheers.

Seymour5 · 29/12/2025 12:30

I do wonder what will happen re Peaty’s son? His mum seems to have been considered a good enough grandmother to take care of George. She also seems to have a decent relationship with George’s mum.

If that’s the case, I’m sure George’s mum will facilitate the relationship.

She seems like a sensible girl, so I would imagine she would have boundaries in place regarding what Adam’s mum can and cannot say to George, and who she can and cannot have around him.

If Caroline starts having inappropriate conversations with or around George, or brings the uncle who made death threats against Adam around, she may well have her time limited with her grandson via his mother too.

She’d probably end up in the DM blaming Gordon Ramsay for that as well.

diddl · 29/12/2025 13:18

It's an absolute shit show isn't it?

The DM are having a field day.

According to a friend, Beth was the only one invited to the hen as she's the only one with the "right look".

Dear oh dear.

If so that might have escalated everything.

Bruisername · 29/12/2025 13:21

But that’s according to the friend of the mum - they are most likely speculating!

TonTonMacoute · 29/12/2025 13:22

IME people who spend too much time and effort publicly slagging off other people are usually best avoided.

All that's likely to happen is that tabloid journalists will go on the hunt for every bit of dirt they can find about the Peatys.

Or it shows his willingness to work on the relationship, and desire for his son to have a relationship with his grandmother. Clearly this was prior to the final breaking point being reached.

It’s interesting that she agreed to babysit for the stag and hen parties, yet waited for the photos to be posted to create drama, and then weaponized the fact that she was babysitting. As if he needed her to provide childcare.

It doesn’t sound like she’s seen her grandson since. I doubt that neither Adam nor his ex particularly want their son to be used by his family, or for him to be around someone as unstable as his uncle.

welshgirl2025 · 29/12/2025 13:27

apparently the dresses were designed by Victoria Beckham, dont know if its true but it would certainly make sense of the lack of class.

That must be true then.

Is it not more likely that Holly and Beth have become friends given that they’re close in age?

Bruisername · 29/12/2025 13:31

There were a couple of photos of VB where it looked like she was wearing a flared jumpsuit! Fabric choice was odd tbh and whilst harper had the nicest it seemed an inappropriate choice for a 14yo.

SparklingCrow · 29/12/2025 13:32

diddl · 28/12/2025 08:17

I was just about to google Denver cape😂😂😂

A Denver cape sounds very elegant for winter wear, beloved by the monied classes who ski in Aspen and dine in discreet restaurants in the cold evenings.

Must admit the photos of the main players in the wedding party did remind me of the Dolly Parton saying:

It costs a lot of money to look this cheap”

VanessaSanessa · 29/12/2025 13:44

The whole thing is just classless. Both sides playing it out on social media. At the end of the day it's sad when a parent and child are estranged.

And what is with all those dresses being ultra long?? I wouldn't last two minutes without falling over.

Beth was also linked arms with another of the Ramsey bridesmaids walking in.

I think they might actually be one of the cared where Sister in laws are genuine friends by good luck.

Bruisername · 29/12/2025 14:22

Also, by the sounds of it the sisters finance has a very dodgy past so I don’t think he’s trying to get way from that aspect of his family

it it sounds like he fell out with ‘death threat brother’ a while back

Quincette · 29/12/2025 14:27

Vogue? What the heck. It must be the Victoria Beckham adjacent effect.

My niece met one of the Ramsey daughters. I don’t remember the name but it was a cookery event that influencers get invited to. She said she was very nice.

I’m thinking that the wedding dress must be VB.

diddl · 29/12/2025 14:44

Just to say I'm not giving it any credence (about Beth having the "right look"), but if this is the sort of thing that is being batted about I can see why the couple might have just had enough.

xSideshowAuntSallyXx · 29/12/2025 15:43

I actually feel sorry for his Dad more than anyone. His mother and her sister are constantly telling the press how they're feeling whilst the Dad has kept a dignified silence,he actually looks sad and uncomfortable in the photo from Saturday.

The aunt is commenting on every article on the Daily Mail too. They need to stop now before they do irrevocable damage.

Vogue weddings is covering a huge amount of nobody weddings- holly mortimor Williams in PR, Nigerian tik toker xxxx, head of studio at Netflix and his wife etc etc…. basically drawn by the aesthetic- big unusual days.

but it’s more of an online thing, they publish at least one a week online and insta. I’d be very surprised if they appeared in uk vogue print.

in terms of aesthetic it’s probably going to be a lavish beautiful wedding and yes, if VB designed the dress that will be a point of interest as VB doesn’t design wedding dresses
