This is NOT the kettle advertised?

Been watching this ninja kettle on amazon for a while and it dropped from 90 to 58 in Black Friday sale.

Its just arrived. AIBU to think this is not the same kettle??

I was under the impression it was stainless steel, its plastic!

It does say that it's in stone and gold though... No mention of stainless steel

I thought the stone was in referal to the handle and the shade of the metal.

I didn't read it, just saw the ohotos that all look metal!

I just had a look at it on amazon and there is actually a stainless steel version which looks very different to yours. Yours looks very different to the photos though, I wouldn't expect what you got from the images.

You got the stone gold one. There is a stainless steel one but that’s more expensive. The one you bought doesn’t say it’s steel.

Look at the bases. The stainless steel does have a grey base but the gold based/stone one also looks stainless steel!

These are the 2 types. Gold and silver. They BOTH look metal.

I would say definitely not the same and possible not even Ninja - I suspect this is a fake. The give away is things like the cheap look, the lid button is very different, it tapers down rather than being a straight tube shape and the lid looks like it doesn't quite fit. Reject this and state that it's likely counterfeit - I would worry that this would burn my house down. If they won't have it back then contact your local council trading standards services dept.

It looks the same to me other than the colour- but I'd be annoyed that it looksike stainless steel when it isn't, hate when the picture isn't of the exact product

I found it on amazon and it dies say Stainless steel under Materials. (On the stone gold version)

Does it have all the bits it's supposed to?

This what the stainless steel one I found looks like. It looks considerably more shiny than yours. Like I said I don't think that yours looks like the photo but I don't think you should ever just assume you know what products are either.

I'm not sure why it's such an issue....its not what you expected so just send it back?

Because I bought the airfryer and used it and then got the kettle to match and it looks nothing like advertised! I would like the stainless steel version!

This is the one we've got and it's definitely shiny. The one the OP has shown in the first set of photos looks nothing like this one.
@NinjaWhat I'd just return it and look for the other one to be honest. and is currently on offer for £78.99. I recommend this one as it's not so much as leaked a bit of water in the time we've had it - we were so fed up with kettles that leaked water every time we poured!

It went on sale in black friday, it was £90 for weeks. I wanted the gold to match my kitchen.

I'm going to return it as its nothing like advertised but frustrating as the fake picture is a very nice kettle!
