This is NOT the kettle advertised?

Been watching this ninja kettle on amazon for a while and it dropped from 90 to 58 in Black Friday sale.

Its just arrived. AIBU to think this is not the same kettle??

I was under the impression it was stainless steel, its plastic!

It's not a great kettle either, really.
I had the steel one and it's very thin and loses temperature easily. It also didn't last that long before it started getting a bit temperamental.
The Ninja beep does my head in too!

@NinjaWhat Amazon is known to sell fake versions of branded products. It's why I never buy anything edible off Amazon, because anyone can use photos and sell a fake. Send it back and buy a real Ninja kettle from a reputable shop even if it's more expensive.

That's gutting! Mind you, we paid nearly £100 for ours back in January and then it went in the sale a few days later - so annoying! I hope you manage to find the one you're looking for :)

Sorry but where is the drama?

I bought something and what arrives looks significantly different. This is an open forum to chat about all sorts of things. So I am asking if other people think it looks significantly different and maybe someone here has bought the kettle themselves and may have received the one I wanted or know if its a fake product etc.

The only real drama I see here are people clicking on a thread they have no interest in then taking the time to comment on it as well!

I do this really funny little thing when I browse Mumsnet, if I read a title and don't really have any interest in it or think its not very relevant to my own life I just scroll past to the next topic. I find it really does save me a lot of time by not commenting on every post I don't want to engage in!

If you buy things from amazon and they go on sale after sometimes they will refund the difference.

Your life must be particularly tricky if you think someone having a boring discussion about their kettle is dramatic.

Ninja has an official Tiktok shop and they always have discounts and deals and coupons on there. It's their official account too so it's worth the order plus returns are quite easy

I don't think i could spend that much on a kettle.
My last one coat £8 from asda still working 2 year on.
The one before that cost me £18 and it stopped working after a month.

But the body of the kettle (and matching fryer) look like sort of putty/cement-coloured plastic, or some other non-metallic material. The base is gold, certainly.
Does your kettle really not match that air fryer?

I have the ninja kettle and mine is the stainless steel one. If it was advertised as the SS one, and you got a plastic one that’s not right.

This is probably going to rub salt in your wounds, but I love my kettle. The only issue with having all ninja stuff is they all make the same sound

I think 60 quid for something that is used 10 times a day (hopefully for years) that also has the ability to boil to different temperatures (i like a much cooler boil for my peppermint tea) is not extortionate.

They’ve really juiced the photo. It looks like brushed chrome so you haven’t got what you ordered at all! The shape is different too. You need to return it.

OP, do you have a link? Looks like a good deal but the grey stainless steel is showing as £78 for me, not £58.
