It looks like packaging for something. Like inside a shirt collar? (Although the shape in the third pic is a bit suss! 😂)

I assume you’ve asked the other person / people in the house?

Allschoolsareartschools · 10/11/2025 07:38

Looks like some kind of fastener. They're often wrapped round the cord of new small electrical items. Could it be that?

ThePoshUns · 10/11/2025 08:17

Just looks like some packaging, I wouldn’t have given it a second thought.

BeeCucumber · 10/11/2025 08:24

My granddaughter had one of these on the handles of her new handbag if that helps.

It's the wrapping off some form of contraceptive. Your husband is having an affair and the Other Woman left on your dressing table for you to find.

Isn't that the usual MN response?

CarrieMoonbeams · 10/11/2025 08:36

Definitely a fastener of some sort - I have similar on the battery pack of the fairy lights on my door wreath to hold it in place.

saraclara · 10/11/2025 08:40

It looks like the kind of thing securing a new cable. Does it fasten when you loop it into that circle?

CoubousAndTourmaIet · 10/11/2025 08:48

It's off the strap of a new bag.

Booboobagins · 10/11/2025 08:57

It's packaging - possibly a cable tie - who do you live with? Ask them.

BallerinaRadio · 10/11/2025 09:00

Sorry yeah it was me I left it there over the weekend

AI Overview

The item shown in the image is a wig grip headband. It is designed to be worn under a wig to provide a secure, non-slip fit without the need for adhesives, clips, or combs.

carkerpartridge · 10/11/2025 09:22

From a new bag strap or something else similar like a belt

theressomanytinafeysicouldbe · 10/11/2025 09:40

Looks like something that would be wrapped around an electrical cable and like PP have said round the handle of a new handbag

Or if you have new bedding it could be an offcut that could have been inside it or the packaging

I took one of those off thw wrapped up electrical cord of a leaf blower my DH bought on saturday.

Is your garden neat and tidy, clear of leaves? If so, it may have come off a leaf blower.

If not, it is probably from something niche and unusual and once you know what it is, you will reach peak enlightenment. Please share your findings.

I would really hate the thought that DH had unwrapped a leaf blower in the bedroom. Don't they suck as well? 😱

Hopefully OP remembers unwrapping a new handbag or Christmas lights!

Ohnobackagain · 10/11/2025 10:08

It’s a packaging tie for handles (eg on a bag) or cabling @Kentgirl456

There's your answer. It's from your new wig.

Bloody hell! I don't think I'd unwrap a leaf blower in the bedroom?
Although we don't know how dusty your gaff is.

It's a dildo for a 2 dimensional ghost. Ribbed, for her pleasure.

I think it's this.
