What would you like for Christmas?

I have seen a lovely scarf on a recent trip to Edinburgh. I don’t normally care much for presents but I have requested this from dh. It’s a bit more than I would spend but we’re sensible with money and I would treasure it.

We don’t normally do a tonne of gifts at Christmas as I honestly prefer to spend the money on nice food. But I would be thrilled with the scarf and maybe a bottle of perfume.

What would you like?

I want 48 hours of peace and quiet. no animals to feed walk. no house to clean.no dinner feeding people etc.no husband coming in and out from the farm no visitors no phone calls. the mental list in my head to be gone. just 48 hours please to sleep rest watch what I want on telly etc. then I can go back to the real world then 😅

Well my OH & his DSis have recently got back in touch after not speaking for 10 years, so I'd love for us all to spend Xmas together but she has loads of other people to host so I'd settle for boxing day (though I do feel.we should be priority 🤣)

Failing that, or in addition, I'd like absolutely no arguments plus lots of lovely food & gallons of alcohol 😊. I'm really not bothered about presents for me
