What's made you do a Snoopy happy dance today?

I'm on leave today and tomorrow (and tomorrow is pay day) - yay.

The sun is shining - yay.

I've just gone in to update my Ocado order for tomorrow and have managed to snag doughnut peaches and burrata for half price so I'll be having those with balsamic glaze and pine nuts tomorrow... nom, nom, nom. And YAY!

DD1 is wfh today and booked the dog field for her lunch hour.
It was sunny, DDog was so happy to have her toys in the big field. In between playing with dog daughter and I had had a nice catch up chat.

Home safe on the electric blanket with my dd

I'm watching mafs and she is watching bluey and munching on jelly beans

Life gets tough but I am so lucky to have her 🥺🥰

I've also decided that as I have nothing in the fridge and it's the day before pay day I am going to take advantage of the Ask Italian £5 pizza deal - so will have dinner out, which is fairly nice. I can almost imagine your field, sounds so gorgeous!

I went out for a warm sunny afternoon walk in the sunshine (London) and enjoyed seeing the beautiful leaves in the park

I talked myself down when DP was getting on my nerves earlier and managed not to bite his head off

I have a tattoo of snoopy doing his happy dance on my leg. It makes me endlessly happy because it signifies the happiness I felt when I left ex h for a new life.

I love this time of year and part of that is the leaves changing and being crunchy on the ground. Definitely hold on to the memory of your work when people annoy you!

That's amazing. I got a tattoo when I left my ex as well - it's a filigree key (think Secret Garden style) with a dragon curled up in the detail, because when I left him I found my own place and it was very symbolic for me too - my own key!

We have to finish our Ocado order too and you have inspired me to add peaches and burrata to the order. It sounds yummy.

I went for a lovely long walk around the fields this morning in the sunshine and it was really lovely. And I’ve just spent over two hours painting our new garden room with DH. My arm is aching but we got lots done. And it was sunny.

Have it with balsamic glaze, pine nuts and maybe a bit of mint - you won't regret it, I promise!

I'm just having another final look at mine as I have to finalise before 6pm and you never know what will pop up on the flash sale... I just bagged some pasta evangelist fresh stuff for over half off - lucky!

Discovering Sudafed nose spray during this cold I've currently got. I couldn't breath at all through my nose, and was worried it would last forever - little bit of health anxiety

Oh bless you, it's so crap not being able to breathe and having to sleep sitting up! So glad it has provided relief for you. I also swear by my Grancha's cold remedy - two parts hot water, one part whisky, honey, ginger root and a lemon wedge. I am not sure of the medicinal benefits, but I certainly care a lot less about my cold after I have one!!

Sniff tea-tree oil on a tissue.
It's a bit pongy but IMHO, it hurries the symptoms along so recovery is quicker.

None of the kids seem to have caught my lurgy and in-fact have all been in remarkably good moods and good behaviour and dh has arrived home and has started running a warm bath for my poor sore bones.

I've really struggled to see any good today so thank you for making me think of positives - I realised I do have support, people on my side, and good friends I can call on when I need them.

I’ve just had a run of interviews and I haven’t heard about the one I did today! But I am hugely relieved! I think it’s going to be a good fit. Am also glad I don’t need to go to another interview tomorrow!

I have just made a delicious beef stew with dumplings. Feeling very cosy and Autumnal 😊
