What's made you do a Snoopy happy dance today?

I'm on leave today and tomorrow (and tomorrow is pay day) - yay.

The sun is shining - yay.

I've just gone in to update my Ocado order for tomorrow and have managed to snag doughnut peaches and burrata for half price so I'll be having those with balsamic glaze and pine nuts tomorrow... nom, nom, nom. And YAY!

Come and have a little happy dance...

Thanks @Bearinthesmallmessyflatand@Arlanymor 🥰
I’ve just had a run of interviews and I haven’t heard about the one I did today! But I am hugely relieved! I think it’s going to be a good fit. Am also glad I don’t need to go to another interview tomorrow!

I am honestly thrilled for you - thanks so much for the update. Your happiness is infectious in the best possible way!

I have just made a delicious beef stew with dumplings. Feeling very cosy and Autumnal 😊

Definitely! So satisfying! Enjoy... (and it tastes even better tomorrow doesn't it?)

Dropped the OH off at the airport for a whole week in the UK, came back to warmth and blue skies, have brought my pottery wheel down onto my terrace to make pots all week. I bought a load of snacks that himself would normally snaffle and they are all for me and am just about to get into my jamas and have some sofa time. And the cats have been loving the sunny day now that the rain has stopped. Glorious.

Today I found out that my siblings and I were wrongly advised and we don't have to pay £200,000 inheritance tax on our parent's estate.

The exact sum is 0!!

Oh bless you, it's so crap not being able to breathe and having to sleep sitting up! So glad it has provided relief for you. I also swear by my Grancha's cold remedy - two parts hot water, one part whisky, honey, ginger root and a lemon wedge. I am not sure of the medicinal benefits, but I certainly care a lot less about my cold after I have one!!

I had an awful cold a few years back & treated myself to 3 hot whiskies in an actual Irish pub, (Ballinaclough, Co Tipp). It was heaven, and did the trick - for a few hours, at leastGrin

Love the sound of your Grancha's remedy though😊

Sniff tea-tree oil on a tissue.
It's a bit pongy but IMHO, it hurries the symptoms along so recovery is quicker.

I used to use tee-tree oil years ago, but had forgotten all about it. Thanks for the reminder😁

One of the kids wrote an essay, sought zero input from me and just got on with it; today their teacher used it as an example of ‘how to.’ They finally seem to be taking off, by themselves. My relief is basically that picture of Snoops and Woodstock. AND my hard-to-please Dad likes his birthday present! WTF even is today, I reckon I’ve been body-snatched😂😜

Jeez who misadvised you and who gave you the good news. Asking for a friend!,

Love this - I did the same (minus dumplings) earlier in the week. We had 2 days worth plus enough to send to my Mum too. I love the autumn stews and comfort food.

Wow! That’s fantastic! Oh I hope you can spend some of it on something fun.

The last of my 33 tall sunflowers came out. Grin 🌻 It's been scrunched up, refusing to come out for about 2 weeks, and it popped out today. So happy!
