Ariana Grande Tickets

My 3 daughters wanted to see Ariana Grande next year. Hugely expensive but they lost their Dad this year so I signed up for the presale to get tickets.

I was 3000 and something in the queue so should have been no issues, but the stupid Ticketmaster link let me and then every time I went to check out it told me the tickets were sold.

I’ve now got no tickets and I’m crying with disappointment for them. I know IABU but they’ve had such a traumatic year I wanted to do something nice for them. Rant over. I know it’s not the end of the world. I also know I’ve also probably pissed people off by saying they’ve lost their Dad rather than saying he died. I’m ridiculously upset.

Virtual hug. No suggestions but didnt want to read and run. And stuff those who are annoyed on your language choice.

Possibility to go to another place for the tickets? Somewhere less popular? I know we went to Glasgow for a gig once because tix hadn't sold out? Could make a weekend of it?

I’m sorry it’s disappointing isn’t it, getting tickets can be a bit of a battle.

People always buy tickets and then close to the time realise they’re short of cash and so need to sell them, DP often waits until the week before for this reason.

Keep checking?

Sometimes tickets come up later in the day because people let them expire in their basket

Resale tickets go up for sale - only use the official resale site though

Look for another venue either close or make a trip of it

Thanks everyone. They were going to have to be their Christmas present so I can’t run the risk of saying they’re going just in case I can’t get or afford the tickets that may become available nearer the time.

Thank you, I’ve just seen that. I’m back in the queue but there’s 200,000 in front of me now rather than the 3000 earlier!

Also in the queue here. In the past, I've always had success getting resale tickets through the official sites, it sometimes take a few days to get suitable ones, but I'm always surprised at how many come up, so that would be an option?

It's bonkers how hard it is to get tickets for things nowadays.

General sale is on the 18th so you can try again then at 10am.

I signed up for presale but never got a link today so I missed out 😢 whenever I sign up for a presale it literally never works!

Spent 5hrs queuing today...kept jumping on new dates as released...supposedly there were tickets and painstakingly waited for 150k+ queues to tick down only to be told nothing available...

Not the same as what you have all gone through of course, but very disappointed girls this end too.

If I had a tenner for every hour I've spent in a Ticketmaster queue with my heart racing I'd be rich! (And have paid off all the tickets...😬) It is such a farce, clearly it's all bots - and yet real people get kicked out.

I am going to try again on Thursday for general sale, and if not that then keep an eye on the resales. If you want them for a Christmas present you have a good chance of getting some by then.

I know it's very stressful and disappointing but keep the faith!!!

Just wanted to add - today was the pre-sale but general sale is on Thursday. So there is still hope of getting tickets!

I queued for hours this morning and didn’t get tickets, so I’m hoping for more luck on Thursday!

despite only being on one device it decided I was a bot and I was completely blocked after finally getting some seats in my basket. 5 hours and nothing to show for it.

It was so awful! I got to adding tickets to basket on three different dates but then they would be gone by the time I checked out.

Looking at resale tickets on Hellotickets now but £££

That’s a shame OP. It’s so frustrating. These events are just too popular. Make sure you don’t get tempted by anyone selling tickets on Mumsnet or Facebook or wherever. The scammer just love it when people get desperate for tickets.

I feel for you, those queues were awful and then disappearing seats that couldn't be checked out. I eventually got flagged as being a bot and kicked out. I don't understand why on earth the process is so chaotic.

I hope you manage to get some for your girls tomorrow!

Did you manage to get any tickets? I was less than 1500 when I joined the queue, when I was in, around 10:05 no tickets left whatsoever! Absolute shambles!

Just checked underneath queue number and it does say no tickets now available. Wow...
