Ariana Grande Tickets

My 3 daughters wanted to see Ariana Grande next year. Hugely expensive but they lost their Dad this year so I signed up for the presale to get tickets.

I was 3000 and something in the queue so should have been no issues, but the stupid Ticketmaster link let me and then every time I went to check out it told me the tickets were sold.

I’ve now got no tickets and I’m crying with disappointment for them. I know IABU but they’ve had such a traumatic year I wanted to do something nice for them. Rant over. I know it’s not the end of the world. I also know I’ve also probably pissed people off by saying they’ve lost their Dad rather than saying he died. I’m ridiculously upset.

I only had 400 people ahead of me, when it was my turn only standing was available, clicked on that and got the ‘sorry no longer available’. I really don’t know how anyone manages it.
OP I hope you’ve had better luck.

I didn’t get any 😢

Some may become available closer to the time but it’s unlikely I’ll have any secured for a Christmas present. There are a lot available online but the prices are just crazy.

I don’t know what the answer is to stop immediate reselling, it just feels very unfair.

Number 1 in the queue this morning. No tickets available! How?!

Viagogo have got them up for £6.5k. Ridiculous.

Awww, I’m sorry. It is absolutely unfair.

We failed too. We tried presale and failed. We were in waiting room on time today and then never made it out of the queue!! 2 disappointed girls. Has anyone heard of anyone who actually managed to get some?

I am a teacher so it was my husband trying to get them, complete waste of time!!

Sorry for your disappointment OP, you deserved them.

We failed too and I haven’t heard of one person who actually got any.

Posted a similar thread last week about Radiohead tickets. Seems to be the same story for any popular artist. Such a shame. I cba anymore but am lucky that I got to see many big acts when I was younger with minimal hassle. I'm now sticking to tribute acts and 80s hasbeens but feel so sorry for younger people. Surely there must be a better, fairer way.......

Bumping this……
I’m curious, did anyone actually get tickets???

Urgh yeah missed out big time on Radiohead. Was too skint as a student in the 90s to do much when they were at their height and now fatter and richer 😅 I was geared up but didn’t get anywhere. I think the competition is so fierce because the music of my era of the 80s and 90s especially is so damn good with so many iconic bands that the younger kids as well as original fans are vying for a place also as well as ticket touts so all just a bit more arduous these days unfortunately.

Many big names now seem to do concerts in Europe in either London or Paris whereas before they used to go to different countries and cities, so there also much more competition for Ariana as it's only London dates so you would also have people from all over vying for tickets which makes it harder. As with the Eras tour you get Americans also vying for tickets in Europe too.

Not here. Genuinely no idea how anyone managed to actually get a ticket through the official channel. I got into it once and before it booted me out for thinking I was a bot 🙄 all the seats kept disappearing and reappearing. Couldn't get any of them to checkout.

AgapanthusPink · 20/09/2025 17:53

Set up an alert on Twickets now. In circumstances such as this I have nearly always managed to get tickets (Oasis excepted). Depending on your flexibility it’s not uncommon for tickets to become anvailable in tge run up to a gig and people are unable to go for various reasons or just can’t be bothered. Also keep checking Ticketmaster for resale tickets. Often several people in a group all try to get tickets and if they all do they will try and resell quickly.

Labubus · 20/09/2025 20:41

Be careful with resales as these gigs aren’t allowing them apparently.

Timbukpoo · 22/09/2025 15:43

There is currently a law suit against Ticketmaster in the US - I can’t believe this type of monopoly is allowed to exist in today’s day and age! Why can’t there be multiple outlets to buy tickets? It doesn’t make sense!

White text reading "Ticketmaster", against a blue background, appears on a phone, with the Live Nation logo in the background.

Ticketmaster, Live Nation face US lawsuit over ticket resale

US regulators accuse the companies of illegal ticket resale tactics costing consumers millions of dollars.
