Littlewhitedove · 14/09/2025 19:57

My daughter is visiting so we are watching a Netflix thing. I love having her home❤

Petrolitis · 14/09/2025 19:57

Just got the fire roaring and watching Martin Clunes play Colin Sutton.

Handsewing a 13th century under tunic, based on the st Louis relic.

Mixingitup · 14/09/2025 20:00

Just eaten some lamb shanks I've been cooking for 3 hours - no one else likes them so hubby had chicken and chips and the big kids are in bed - they were a delight. Even if they were eaten one handed while nursing a baby who seems to be not very well 😞

user276 · 14/09/2025 20:01

Just put kids to bed and sitting under the blanket! Film suggestions would be good please!

EllaPaella · 14/09/2025 20:01

Just finished a lovely roast beef dinner with apple crumble and custard for afters. It’s been a grey, wet afternoon and I had to do some work in preparation for tomorrow so I’m about to go and have a nice hot bath then have a glass of wine and watch the next episode of Dept Q on Netflix.

Teddy589 · 14/09/2025 20:02

Final evening of our week off before we go back to work tomorrow. We’ve had a homemade cheeseburger and chips for tea, with a sneaky small glass of wine. Watching a show on C4 about the making of white chocolate digestives - super easy Sunday night viewing!

Oh wow, show please?

Im watching The Girlfriend on Prime and waiting for a cherry clafoutis to be ready.

ResusciAnnie · 14/09/2025 20:03

Had a nice shower after a day of kid wrangling, bowling, 5pm run 🏃‍♀️ then 3x kids bedtime. In my PJs and dressing gown which I rarely wear, making a jacket potato, going to watch telly! 🥰 love rain and the dark outside ❤️
Going to buy some bday presents for DS and peruse some waterproof running gear while I watch tv! Then got to do my NYTimes puzzles (love them so much 😄). Lush!

Arlanymor · 14/09/2025 20:04

Just finished batch cooking and now enjoying a glass of wine while the torrential rain continues outside (all of the drains here are flooded - even crossing the road you wade through water here). Also a few people have pointed me to a job on LinkedIn tonight that I am seriously considering applying for... I am happy where I am but the money is heaps better, I know some of the people already and my job will come to an end when our organisation closes in 2028. So am seriously pondering...

Procrastination4 · 14/09/2025 20:04

Catching upon Episode 6 of The Traitors Ireland, and possibly Episode 7 and then bed before 11. That’s the plan anyway!🤞

NightsinthegardensofSpain · 14/09/2025 20:07

Catching up on tv I've missed..eating a mince pie.
Heating is on for the first time this season!

MudandMoet · 14/09/2025 20:10

Baby in bed, just eaten a big bowl of slow cooked beef and mash and now starting a ridiculous sized bag of pick n mix from Xscape yesterday while watching antiques roadshow (mumsnetting/vinteding). Love hearing the rain and wind outside and being cosy and settled inside.

Whateverwillwedonow · 14/09/2025 20:12

Sat with under a blanket listening to music and scrolling mumsnet. I think that I’m coming down with something, Covid has been doing the rounds at work but hopefully just run down.

DoubtfulCat · 14/09/2025 20:14

We’ve had the fire in too this afternoon. I did some knitting earlier and made chutney with the tomatoes that aren’t going to ripen now, and we had a lovely risotto that used stock and the leftover gravy from the roast we ate yesterday.*

Now alternating between my book, Vinted, and Mumsnet.

*I discovered that this makes Saturday feel like Sunday, so Sunday feels like a bonus weekend day 😎

mumofoneAloneandwell · 14/09/2025 20:20

No rain here in london 😪

In bed with dd who isnt tired yet

Having some toast before my diet starts for the millionth time tomorrow

Watching two doors down but will watch the itv thriller at 9pm, providing dd drops off by then 😪

LaughingCat · 14/09/2025 20:23

We were going to set up our bedroom with the cot and everything for the nursery today but we’ve both come down with Covid! Feeling pants so watching Helluva Boss and sniffling instead.

Cleanthatup · 14/09/2025 20:25

Just finishing up dinner. Fixed my hair as it looked a mess and at least when I straighten it for work I look a little less tired.

DD1&2 both went back to uni mid week so the house is quite with just me DS and DH. Everyone’s in their own spaces doing their own thing now so I think I’ll watch that new series - Coldwater.

Then prob go to bed early watch more tv and sleep around 11ish.

GreenCandleWax · 14/09/2025 20:26

Went to a lovely choral evensong with specially brought together choir of mixed male and female voices - the music was gorgeous. Afterwards little refreshments and glass of wine, and chats with lovely people. Very life enhancing.😃

Didimum · 14/09/2025 20:27

Been swimming, to a Sunday pub lunch and then I laid on the bed with the cat for the early evening. Getting kids to bed then will have a glass of wine while me and DH have a cuddle on sofa and finish a film.

dontforgetme · 14/09/2025 20:28

Just waiting for the kids to brush their teeth and get into bed, something that should take 10 mins at absolute max takes forever! I have a pizza cooking. Find something to watch for an hour or 2 then hit the sack before it all starts again in the morning. Weekends go too bloody quick.

ILikeDinosaurs · 14/09/2025 20:30

Curled up rewatching Stranger Things from scratch. So much better the 2nd time round!

AuldTheDeepMinded · 14/09/2025 20:30

Watching educating Yorkshire in bed. Youngest and I have just shared a bowl if ice-cream. I have the sniffles and started a late period today, so feeling a bit under par
