To not go to oasis despite having tickets

We to gig last night (not oasis) in an indoor arena and was in the top tier and had a panic attack about how high it was. Checked my tickets for Wembley which is obviously much bigger and we are in the top tier - 501 row 38 - and I just don’t think I can do it.

Idontjetwashthefucker · 26/07/2025 12:51

So don't go then, and sell the tickets?

Boozoo · 26/07/2025 12:55

Sell them or give them away maybe.

AngeloMysterioso · 26/07/2025 12:57

Oh my god I’ll go! Was meant to go to Manchester last weekend but in the end couldn’t (long story) I’m still so gutted about it

Maddy70 · 26/07/2025 13:04

Sell them

Masonjarcandle · 26/07/2025 13:06

They'll re sell in a heartbeat and make someone's day! So many people are hoping for resold tickets still.

TheChosenTwo · 26/07/2025 13:06

Sell them, you ought to get what you paid for them.

Cattery · 26/07/2025 13:07

Sell them asap!! You can only transfer once on these tickets. I’m going but we are in level 1. Fuck sitting that high up. Although it’ll be an amazing gig…

DinoLil · 26/07/2025 13:10

Urgh - I had top level seating at the O2 for a Muse concert a few years ago. I was terrified to move, I kept thinking I was going to fall out of my seat!

Can you sell your tickets and see if anyone is selling some for lower tiers?

Top level at the O2 is horrific. Same you i was glued to my seat in terror

Coconutter24 · 26/07/2025 13:14

Who are planning to go with as you say ‘we’ and tickets? Are you planning on not going and the other go or cancelling for everyone?

JoshLymanSwagger · 26/07/2025 13:31

501 row 38 is on the half-way line 2 rows from the back on the upper tier.

I wouldn't go because I'd hate being that high, but then I'm not an Oasis fan either.🤷‍♀️

Sell them.

DinoLil · 26/07/2025 13:40

@Cattery I think those seats should have seat belts and a parachute underneath!

Oh God yeh. Never again. There is hardly enough space for your feet! I was too scared to have any alcohol in case I lost my footing!!

AngeloMysterioso · 26/07/2025 13:45

I’ve been at the very back of Wembley a couple of times, it’s high but not as vertigo inducing as the O2

BunnyRuddington · 26/07/2025 13:46

Just return the ticket through ticket after if you can. There will be people on there looking for tickets.

PinkyFlamingo · 26/07/2025 13:49

Don't go then as everyone has said you can sell your ticket

Purplecatshopaholic · 26/07/2025 13:54

I couldn’t sit there either! Defo sell them, op.

Mumdiva99 · 26/07/2025 13:54

We're going. We are as high as you but not as good block as you. I have been studying all the seat plans and images - I think there is a more gentle rake than at the O2. So if you want to see them then go. There are loads of photos on the oasis group Facebook page.
If you don't want to go - sell your ticket and watch the clips on the Internet.

Mumdiva99 · 26/07/2025 13:55

This is the photo from where we will be.

LlynTegid · 26/07/2025 13:57

Wembley does have a much more gentle rake than the O2.

R0ckandHardPlace · 26/07/2025 13:59

Indoor arenas are very steep, but Wembley (and football stadia in general) is much better!

YesHonestly · 26/07/2025 14:01

I hope you can manage to go OP! Is it tonight?

Cattery · 26/07/2025 14:01

Go OP! It’s gonna be amazing!!!

BBear · 26/07/2025 14:01

I went to the royal Albert hall and got vertigo - have some balance issues but never thought it would be a problem. Never has before. I approached a steward and told him my plight. He said it happens don't worry and put me in box free of charge! If you can’t sell them then try this?

Amammai · 26/07/2025 14:02

Definitely the option to sell but give it some thoughts.

I haven’t personally been to Wembley but I was very high up at St.James park for Sam Fender and despite not normally liking heights etc I found it fine. Things that helped:

Remembering that stadiums are well designed for large crowds and manage that amount of people weekly. So we had zero queues to get on or out. Evacuation procedures etc are top notch at stadiums.

It’ll be open air (rather than an enlcosed concert hall) meant I didn’t feel claustrophobic (I’ve previously been to the M.E.N and felt quite flustered there.

I liked being able to see everyone and not having lots of people behind me

You’ll be seated (though everyone stood up to dance at St. James, of course) but it meant everyone had their own space and I didn’t feel squashed.
