Hi my scales say I’m about 17 stone I have big legs and a weird stomach there’s no denying I’m a big girl but the top of my stomach is flat however it’s the bottom part just bellow belly button that is big and it’s hard to (it even hurts to squeeze it) however being 17stone I assumed I should be about 18-20 however I’m not I fit comfortably in clothes that are size 10-12 and the biggest size I wear is a 16 to me for someone who is 17 stone I should definitely be in bigger clothes yet anything bigger than a 16 is to big
is this normal?

Well I'm 5'11" weigh 17 stone and comfortably get into a size 20 from pretty much anywhere, a size smaller if it's leggings or elasticated trousers. I think it's your own sizing that's out!

I'm 5'7"/5'8" and, at my heaviest, I was 15. I struggled to get into size 16s, so I struggle to believe that a 10/12 could accommodate your girth.

1. I am in a one size fits all dress
2. I am in jeans shorts 18-20 which I can send another image of me in them as they are huge! and a vest size 10-12
3. was a fits from a size 10-18 outfit

are they even photos of the same person or is the camera angle very flattering in the 2nd and 3rd ones?
I'm sorry, but from that full body shot there's no way you're a size 10-12!

These are all the same photos I’ve never claimed to JUST be wearing a size 10-12 I’ve claimed to be wearing MULTIPLE cothing sizes.
first photo was an image taken after eating pasta for tea
I have left my clothing sizes in each outfit!

Also in the first image my stomach was being pushed out more than usual

Lovely, you need to take more accurate photos. The two flattering ones hide a whole host of lumps and bumps - don't forget most of us know how it's done.

You are not a size 10-12. More like 18 possibly. I know you can fit into smaller sizes from some shops (shop sizing can vary wildly) but most places you'll be a lot bigger of a size if you're wearing the correct sizing.

I think you'll be fine on the plane though.

Like I said I’m not JUST a size 10-12 I’m wearing multiple sizing which is where I’m confused as sizes like an 18 up wards are FAR to big and unwearable
the Jean shorts are an 18 and too big when home from work will take a photo on the size 18 Jean shorts on to show how ridiculously big they are the zip and buttons don’t even need to be undone to get them off

Instead of spending so much time worrying what clothing size you fit into, perhaps take a few minutes to pick your clothes up and whizz the hoover around? You'll feel loads better afterwards.

Haha this was taken the day we moved in the house is a lot cleaner now and we have cleaners who come in weekly xx

Are you sure your scales are working? I’m taller than you and weigh 4 stone less and I’m a size 14-16

I’m four stone less than OP but am 20 on top, and 16-18 below !
OP looking at you in that dress I would say you are size 20-22.

I'm same height and was a size 14-16 at 11.5 stone. Admittedly that was some years ago and with vanity sizing that's more like a 12-14 in today's money.

But you are 50% heavier than that. Get checked out though given your stomach hurts.

Have you got any photos or can you take photos from the same angle with the different clothes? One from front and side for each outfit?
At the end of the day, you fit into what you fit into. You can be completely different sizes from one place to another and that's fine, you wear what you feel comfortable and confident in.
If you have any thoughts that your shape, size, weight etc are in any way medically related, book a doctors appointment. If you're not happy about the way you look in any way and it is something you can change, change it.
Do what's best for you.

No you first said "I'm 5ft 6" then next post you said "I'm 5ft 7" so why be do rude to this person?

Im 5'5 and lighter than you, i wear a 18-20. Im sorry but its really not possible with your waist size.

Sounds unusual. I’m a bit heavier, 5ft 10 and a size 16/18
