It is not some people just put a set number of kisses at end of every message. I’m in a lot of group chats and read lots of random messages with three kisses. Some do two, I’m a one at best, don’t really want to but it seems rude to the three kisses folk.

My best friend always puts 3, maybe she's trying to tell me something!

Emojis are also amusing, post watching Adolescence, I have new info re coloured hearts. My male friend who supports the same football team as me clearly does not. He sends messages of alternate hearts in the closest he can find to our team's colours.

They do not mean what he thinks they mean, and I haven't told him......

As someone who has always used xxx, I am now having to rethink ever using emojis again. Bloody hell the world is getting complicated.

As someone from another country, this is very strange.

If someone sent me a message with any amount of X's at the end, I would assume they typed them in error. And possibly overthink why they had added them.

It seems a very British thing to do.
