To take sunscreen on an EasyJet flight?

Apologies for my ignorance, but I haven’t flown for years.

Are a 200ml sunscreen and a 150ml cleanser likely to be confiscated?

And am I allowed a small handbag as well as my teeny-tiny 36 x 45 x 20cm under-seat case?

You can’t take more than 100ml containers in hand luggage. Need to fit all liquids in one of those sealed plastic bags. You can usually get them for free at the airport, but depends on the airport.

It depends what airport you're flying from. If they don't have the new scanners at security then both items will be chucked as they are over the 100ml limit.

And your handbag will need to fit in your case if you haven't paid for any bags and are only taking the under seat item. easyJet are usually very strict on this. And all of this information is available on their website.

The Easyjet website will tell you what luggage you're allowed in accordance with what you've booked. As pp has said, only 100ml maximum containers are allowed into the cabin.

The new scanners just mean you don't need to take your liquids out of your bag. You still can't take things over 100ml into the aircraft cabin.

Only 100ml of anything in handluggage and it has to fit in a certain size bag. It’s been the rule for a while now. Doesn’t matter who fly with.

You CAN buy more than 100ml beyond security you just can’t take it through security. Same goes for duty free alcohol!

I usually buy everything once airside. You can pre-order too at some places.

On the luggage issue unless youve paid extra for large cabin bag it is technically one piece only. That said I usually take a small cross body bag and that’s fine- I make sure I can fit it into the bigger bag in case I get challenged

With easyjet it's one bag only unless you pay extra. They are very strict on this.

We have had larger bottles binned as accidentally left in hand luggage. Either buy on way out at Boots in departure lounge or in resort and bin before return or take the mini travel size. Only one underseat bag or handbag unless you pay for Speedy Boarding or cabin bag.

As others have said you can buy any size in the airport after security to take in the cabin. A plastic bag of "duty free" ( includes toiletries from Boots) is allowed in addition to your small cabin bag . Includes Easyjet, Ryanair etc

Individual bottles are still only a maximum of 100ml each.

The new scanners only mean you don't need to remove bottles and put into plastic bags. Ot doesn't affect the suze of individual bottles.

So to the op s question. Anything over 100ml in hand luggage will not get through security
