5 lovely kids grown up, husband & I recently downsized homes so are in fortunate position of being able to treat ourselves for the 1st time in years, & thinking of getting rhinoplasty.
Fell off bike when kids were younger & broke nose, & been conscious of it since.
Honest opinions please. Would you keep it, or get it fixed ?

It looks absolutely fine to me - quite a nice nose! But if you want to change it, by all means go ahead. It's about what you want yourself to look like, not what other people approve of.

StrangerOnline · 12/04/2025 10:02

Honestly, I can’t see anything to fix.
And I would tell you if I thought it was an unattractive nose.

but if you can afford it, and it has bothered you for years, then go ahead. The only opinion that matters is your own

cakeandteaandcake · 12/04/2025 10:03

I would spend the money on having some therapy instead. There’s nothing wrong with your nose.

Closetangel · 12/04/2025 10:04

It's absolutely fine, you have a nice nose 😊

Bigearringsbigsmile · 12/04/2025 10:04

Your nose is completely fine! I don't know what your be fixing!

HouseofDreams · 12/04/2025 10:05

Wow there is absolutely nothing wrong with your nose?

TenThousandSpoons · 12/04/2025 10:06

I’d keep it. Nice nose. Can’t tell it was broken. What would you change about it?

TheatreTraveller · 12/04/2025 10:07

There's absolutely nothing wrong, it's a really lovely nose, perfect shape.

SpringIsSpringing25 · 12/04/2025 10:07

I'm another one who can't see what it is you want to fix, to me it looks like a perfectly ordinary nose. Trust me, I tell you if I thought otherwise given that you have asked!!

But like other people have said to your nose your money if it's what you want to do....

But no way I'd be having surgery on that hose!!

homemadebasilpesto · 12/04/2025 10:09

Your nose looks fine. I can't even see it was ever broken. I wouldn't do anything myself, but up to you.

Pinknotpurple · 12/04/2025 10:10

I can't see anything wrong with your nose.

Please factor in that work on the nose often leads to further operations as it's very tricky for surgeons to get a good looking, natural result

DappledThings · 12/04/2025 10:10

Get what fixed? Does it look different from front on or something? There's literally nothing I can see on that nose that's even vaguely noticeable.

FidosMum84 · 12/04/2025 10:13

There’s literally nothing to fix. Spend your money on something you’ll enjoy.

madamegazelle1 · 12/04/2025 10:13

I wouldn’t say there is anything to be fixed?!

Somatosensational · 12/04/2025 10:32

I broke my nose twice which led to me not being able to breathe properly, so I had a septorhinoplasty on the NHS.

Having previous fracture(s) can make the surgery much more complicated. A very senior ENT did mine, but it's still not right. My breathing is 95% improved which is fantastic, but a few months after the surgery the cartilage in the bridge where one of the breaks was moved around slightly, so the bone there no longer lines up perfectly so I'm back with the bumpiness of my pre-surgery nose. Before the second break my bridge was completely straight and had really hoped I would get it back.

The recovery was horrendous and long, although mine was complicated by allergies plus the previous traumas. I briefly considered having a 'revision' surgery to fix the cartilage but decided there was no way I could put myself through it again.

All that said, I still feel it's an improvement on how it looked before. But in your case I can't actually see what's wrong with it.

Tillybobbins · 12/04/2025 10:36

It looks totally fine to me.

redredwine40 · 12/04/2025 11:41

Your nose looks absolutely fine! However, if you did want to change it have you looked into non-surgical nose job? They can do amazing things with a small bit of filler

PaintDecisions · 12/04/2025 11:43

Conscious of what?

NeverDropYourMooncup · 12/04/2025 11:45

Looks as damn near perfect as a nose can get to me.

LaurieFairyCake · 12/04/2025 12:26

Also think it looks normal and not been broken or anything Confused

it’s a good nose 😊

Decapitatedsausage · 12/04/2025 12:28

Your nose looks lovely! I broke mine when I was young and had a massive lump in it - I had some fillers put in a few years ago and it’s disguised it. Not as invasive as surgery, but honestly, your nose looks lovely!

AnotherHappyCamper · 12/04/2025 12:30

Keep it. You've a perfectly good nose and that's the honest truth! Use the money towards a fantastic experience or something that will enrich your life.

AnotherHappyCamper · 12/04/2025 12:31

(and I'm not saying that because I'm against the idea of plastic surgery all together; I just think there isn't anything there to fix and that money could be better used for something else)

Saltedcarameltiramisucheesecake · 12/04/2025 12:31

That's a lovely nose, can't see any problem with it

I am currently recovering from minor elective surgery, and you should think hard about the recovery hassle and discomfort. It's not easy.

Whoarethoseguys · 12/04/2025 12:32

It doesn't look as if there is anything to fix it looks fine.
Surgery isn't something to go into lightly.
