A little train trip and lunch by the sea!

Chilling out mainly - had a hell of a week last week!

My school is closed Mon for Eid so I get a bonus long weekend (I'm not Muslim, so don't celebrate Eid but we have many staff and students who do, hence the closure).

The weather is going to be lovely all weekend, south coast, so that's what I am looking forward to, no rain, no grey skies and the evenings being lighter.

Will be gardening and drying some washing.

My life is a non-stop social whirl! 😂

Going home to my family. Been away 3 weeks (my dad is very poorly in hospital and I was looking after mum, hospital visits etc).

Can't wait to see them all ❤️

I am going lipstick shopping with my mum this morning and some lunch. That will be fun. Tomorrow tea in bed from my tiny babies (both of whom are 15, one of whom is 6 inches taller than me so neither actually tiny or actual babies).

tonight some nice dinner and trash tv all 4 of us. I will continue to embrace my crush on Legend from Gladiators.

bit of housework this morning to get through first but nothing too awful.

Pilates today, yoga tomorrow and a nice sunny forest walk. Roast chicken cooked by my husband 😋

Playing games with the kids after dinner tonight and then out for mothers day to a museum and a lovely lunch and possibly a stroll along the river and hopefully a glass or 2 of prosecco!

Seeing DP, DC and the dog today after being away from them for a couple of weeks. Not looking forward to taking them to see my DM in hospice 🙁

Food and gardening.

Cooking a new meal tonight and out for lunch tomorrow.

Currently having a lie in and expecting hot coffee in bed on Sunday morning.

Going to do some planting today so some nice fresh air. Probably play some games with the family too. Its shaping up to be a good weekend!

We have nothing planned at all. DH is gardening while i lie in bed with tea. We will have a walk later then drink coffee and eat hot cross buns. We might watch Adolescence over today and tomorrow. That's about it.

A little family get together tomorrow, watch our footy team with a few Proseccos. My step mom is putting on ‘some buffet bits’ which means a huge spread where my dad will say that will never get eaten, but it always does! Then home for baths and showers and moana 2 with my kids!

Right now. Having our monthly breakfast out w dd2 and dh.

Later I will go to lunch with some pensioners from my old work. That is a monthly meet lunch one month coffee the next. Looking forward to catching up two of them are in their 90s so each meet is precious.

Sitting in my summerhouse with a good book and a glass of something later.
Bliss.

I've got work today, so looking forward to a bit of a laugh and joke with customers and workmates.Then tomorrow three of my kids are coming over (they're all adult) for dinner, so I'm looking forward to a roast dinner (which I wouldn't bother cooking for myself), a sunny walk with kids and Dreadful Dog - and then the weather warming up next week!

Just not being at work.

Living up to my username. My washing is out on the line, I'm listening to the birds whilst having a coffee and bacon sarnie. Picked up some veg plants from our local nursery to pop on the window sill.

It makes such a difference to see the buds pop and leaves unfurl in the spring sun after such a long grey winter 🌞
