I blow my nose on the washing before it goes in the machine... rather than find a tissue!

Same. Backwash 🤮🤮🤮 kids are the worst I just couldn’t do it.

Eeeww!! That’s just reminded me of something….. I shared a bottle of water with my youngest when he was little. The mouthful I took was full of chewed up crisps 🤮🤮

I sometimes pluck my public hair when relaxing in bed, it helps me relax. Then once I’ve got enough, I empty down the loo in my en-suite.

I also pick my nose, sometimes with tweezers.

When I have a cold, I’ve been known to wait until no one’s coming in the path, then hold one nostril and propel the contents of the other on the grass.

I think we’re all pretty weird at times!

My mum used to pull out her armpit hair... she was a bit of a hippy in the 70's and I remember her sitting at the table pulling at her pits!

In some hotels yes and in others no. Also had a friend who worked in a holiday inn and they used to rinse and wipe 🤢

DD worked winter wonderland in our town, she had to clean the glasses from last year for this year - many of them were mouldy but still had to be used.

When I’m tidying up I kind of treat myself like a human bin if I find a crisp on the sofa or something.

my mum dusts the telly with her fluffy cat.

"my mum dusts the telly with her fluffy cat."
Please say this is a euphemism.

When I was at uni, my room was two floors up from the bathroom, so I’d often wee in a pint glass. One night I’d got home pissed, woke up and had a pint glass piss then gone back to sleep. Woke up in the morning desperate for a wee and grabbed the pint next to my bed and had a couple of big gulps before realising something was wrong 🤢.

As per my name, I also rinse my Mooncup out in the sink, but thankfully AIBU told me that it was ok.

I do sometimes, however, pick my nose and wipe it on things which I don’t think people would approve of so much…

Ahhh the beloved bedpost aging system, if you count the layers you can tell how many years old it is.

As a bloke I find it quite weird how people get bent out of shape about this, i touch my willy to aim the stream, I don't piss all over my hands and then walk out the bathroom.

And this is why I never touch handles/bannisters when I'm out. Men are gross.

I can honestly say I don't think I do anything disgusting. I'm a germaphobe and I can't even read this thread as it'll make me feel sick.

Echobowels · 25/03/2025 19:45

Blondebrownorred · 25/03/2025 18:17

Why though? God this thread makes me feel sick.

I think it's just because I'm really disgusting.

Echobowels · 25/03/2025 19:48

SideEyeSally · 25/03/2025 18:37

same!

Personal biltong 😂

Differentstarts · 25/03/2025 19:01

So 🤷‍♀️ everyone in my household has been inside me in one way or another so I doubt my spit would bother them

Agree @Differentstarts
but reading some of these comments which I regard as normal I think other people have higher standards.

My life is beginning to sound quite rank 🤣🤣🤣

Spodemultiuser · 25/03/2025 18:41

Too many people and not enough toilets in my house.
I simply can’t wait ages for my kids to get out of the bathroom
So I have my very own posh sheewee

Its a Spode jug
I do love a bit of Spode.

Image of similar …it’s the one on the left. Lovely snug fit 😆😆

would you believe I’ve even name changed…..oh the utter shame 🥴

Edited

I have to ask... do you use it for anything else???

mumofoneAlonebutokay · 25/03/2025 16:32

Not disgusting but weird

I sometimes climb the stairs on all 4s when dd isn't home 🤭

I often do this too! it’s fun!

I do it because I’m a vegetarian but I don’t have an issue with cannibalism 😋, got to get that fix somehow 😗

I do boil it first 😇

isn’t wee an antiseptic as well so 🤷‍♀️

Hairchomper · 25/03/2025 19:53

I have no issue with letting my cats roam around on the kitchen work surface while I’m preparing food. Sometimes a cat hair or two will land in what I’m cooking, and I’d usually just ignore it.

I don't know if you'd call it gross, but maybe more weird, but, especially when im stressed, ill twirl my arm hair between my fingers into matted little clumps, and then wont be able to un-knot them, so have to rip out chunks of spider like arm hair.

Just joking.
No. It’s in a cupboard upstairs with Louds of other Spode stuff we don’t use.
If I die my kids will inherit so I suppose they might though. 😆

I actually have bottles of water in the boot where you store the spare wheel which no one knows about in case of real emergency because I just cannot stand the thought of sharing a drink with anyone. I do have OCD though 😂

Hedjwitch · 25/03/2025 19:57

I am probably an utter minger but tbh,I couldn't live with the level of neurosis about germs that some posters are exhibiting.

Itsjustgonenoonhalfpastmonsoon · 25/03/2025 19:57

I keep my own used teabags from work, bring them home on Friday and put them in the food waste bin.

Payforyourowndinner · 25/03/2025 19:57

I don’t wash for days. I think 4 or even 5 is my record. I’m not particularly sweaty or dirty and always wash my hands and face and also brush my teeth twice a day. Sometimes I just cannot be bothered to shower.
I thought it was just me but when I told two close friends one thought I was disgusting, the other said she’s the same and she’s a teacher, always going into school looking like she stepped out of a Ralph Lauren catalogue. I would never have guessed she was a secret stinker like me.

They will probably take it on antiques roadshow one day and get loads of money for it and you’ll be looking down from heaven chuckling and maybe pissing on them from above 😂😂😂

anothernameanotherplanet · 25/03/2025 19:59

Young mum I know - blowing/wiping/squeezing her toddler’s nose into her hand then just carrying on.

Fortunately he uses tissues himself now!

SparklyHedgehog · 25/03/2025 19:59

If I can't find a hand towel after I've washed my hands, I often dry them on the cat

CaptainCabinets · 25/03/2025 20:02

I thought of one Grin

Right in the last few days of pregnancy I was struggling with the stairs and needed a wee desperately so I pissed in the measuring jug in the kitchen. If my neighbour had happened to look over his fence at that moment he would have been horrified at what he saw.

Piss jug has now been repurposed as a plant watering jug Grin
