Yes, it does ring a bell. There was also a woman who’d had kid/s with a much older partner and she came on frequently asking for help, but didn’t seem to take it. I wonder what happened to her.

That whole situation stuck with me for a long time. So awful for her and her son, and so little that could be done.
I hope she and her son are ok.

Gosh, how awful. I’d not seen this thread before - as PP, I hope they are both okay.

I also remember another thread about a lad of around the same age whose girlfriend was extremely controlling - might have been in Australia..? Girlfriend was same age, I think…
