Teachers : what's the worst thing about the job now?

I've name changed , but been here many years and teaching for 22 years.
Dreading going back on Monday. For me , the worst bit is the increasingly poor behaviour of students and the continual parental complaints and allegations.
Anyone else dreading it and fancy a solidarity thread?

Just wanted to acknowledge your 'biscuits' comment 😂😂👏👏🍪🍪

I'm impressed that the staffroom has biscuits of any quality! My Department had a biscuit supply but we kept them under lock and key in case inferior Departments mounted a raid!

More moaning from teachers. Get another job. We'll all manage fine. Schools have only existed in their present form for a very short time historically, time for a shake up, many of you are doing a fucking awful job and lots of you constantly complain.

Whatever the "reasons" it's not working, so just leave your job - all of you. Doit. All you stop teaching right now. This minute. Today.

There will be a huge shake up, the paradigm will totally shift and a new model will arise. Whatever that looks like it has to be better than the constant whining from teachers.

It doesn't matter if you think a/b/c will happen if schools stop existing. The world adapts and changes all the time to far larger issues.

And I'm not answering a single Waaaahhhh response. I don't care if you're offended. I hope you are, it might shock you out of whining all the time into actually doing something. If you respond to shout, whine, moan at me or insult me just know that I know I made a difference to your life and forced you to rethink your pointless wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Have a look at teacher retention - it might educate you.
In the meantime, perhaps you’d like to entertain us all about how you are such an expert in the teaching profession?

Being unable to adequately resource the staff needed for the kids needs
Parental expectations and undermining staff
A rigid curriculum that doesn't fit the kids
28 years in and considering jacking it all in

@spareusyourmoaningplease
You really sound like such an expert. Problem solved, teachers have an easy life and will all stop moaning after your wise words. Please tell us more about your extensive teaching experience.
Working 70+ hours a week for no extra pay, increasing unrealistic demands, awful behaviour from parents and students, being physically and verbally abused on a daily basis. Yeah that’s the best job going, I have no idea why 45 thousand teachers quit last year and why schools can’t recruit. The problem must be the moaning teachers who can’t hack it. 🙄
