How many sausages is too many?

Chipolatas, specifically. Naice ones.

DH out for pizza and cinema with the elder DC, toddler in bed so I'm going for the healthy option of sausage sandwich for tea. 5 left in the packet, 3 is my usual number of choice to comfortably fill the sandwich and satisfy the craving, but leaving 2 chipolatas seems silly. Lashings of ketchup, obviously.

YANBU - eat all five
YABU - stop right there little miss piggy, too many!

Never leave a sausage behind!!

Acornacorn · 15/02/2025 18:36

Cook all 5. 3 for your sandwich and 2 to snack on tomorrow

NinaNobody · 15/02/2025 18:37

I have 2.
DH has 4.
DS (20) has 6.

Crispsandcola · 15/02/2025 18:37

One and a half sandwiches worth of sausages there. Go for it!

TheChosenTwo · 15/02/2025 18:37

I’d cook them all and leave some cold to be eaten tomorrow.
But I don’t eat sausages so I wouldn’t really cook any 😂

Never leave a sausage behind!!

This! 3 for your sandwich, 2 for the side. (Or 2 for another sandwich 💁🏻‍♀️)

Cook all 5. 3 for your sandwich and 2 to snack on tomorrow

Or later on tonight. With ketchup.

Mindymomo · 15/02/2025 18:37

5 chipolatas, maybe 3 in the sandwich and 2 on the side is what I would have, otherwise the other 2 wouldn’t get eaten and have to be thrown away. My freezer is full of 2 or 3 sausages, which I doubt will ever be eaten.

Vetiver · 15/02/2025 18:40

I think you need 4 chipolatas for a sandwich, 2 for each half, and a cold sausage is a delightful thing to find in the fridge

boulevardofbrokendreamss · 15/02/2025 18:40

3 chipolatas make half a sandwich.

No33 · 15/02/2025 18:41

Chipolatas are tiny! Have a luxurious sandwich with them all 😄

Glitchymn1 · 15/02/2025 18:42

3 is enough. Save 2 for brekkie.

Doggymummar · 15/02/2025 18:42

You can get five across a piece of bread. Don't ask me how I know

arcticpandas · 15/02/2025 18:42

1! Vegetarian here😅

Savemefromwetdog · 15/02/2025 18:43

The limit does not exist.

shellyleppard · 15/02/2025 18:43

Use 3 in the sandwich then two for snacking later 🤣🤣

Saturdaynightlive · 15/02/2025 18:43

Acornacorn · 15/02/2025 18:36

Cook all 5. 3 for your sandwich and 2 to snack on tomorrow

This is the correct answer.

AgnesX · 15/02/2025 18:45

10% who reckon that 5 is too many 😁

Packingcube · 15/02/2025 18:47

Get two packs they are tiny

Funykeudfh · 15/02/2025 18:49

3 chipolatas in a sandwich is not enough. Has to be 4 or 6 otherwise it'll be all uneven when you cut it. I'd cook all 5 - 4 in the sandwich and 1 to eat separately.

I cut sausages in half down the middle for sandwiches.
So there would be 6 half with 3.

Same! 3 works a treat.

Sausage tray bake.

Sausages in a roasting tin, cut into chunks. Onion, carrots, potatoes, courgettes, mushrooms. Drizzle with olive oil, bake in the oven. Make mash. Yum. Doesn't matter that they might be all different types.

JudgeBread · 15/02/2025 18:56

Girl. Cook them all.

Three for your super healthy sandwich.

Two snacking sausages for later.

Job's a good'un.
