Thankfully Aziza has been found. (Added by MNHQ at request of the OP)… to ask any London-based Mumsnetters to help find my missing cousin?

My cousin Aziza went missing during a theatre trip in London with family yesterday. She has learning difficulties and I suspect just decided during the intermission that she wanted to leave and walked out without speaking to anyone.

She has no coat, phone, or money and it has now been more than 24 hours in freezing temperatures.

We are working closely with the police but would welcome any help in spreading the words in case someone remembers seeing her.

With her learning difficulties, would she be able to find her way around - I'm asking would she aim for anywhere or just wander?
Does she live in London?

I'm east London and have shared the news story and will keep a look out. Hope you are reunited asap!

Sorry just saw she lives in Croydon - ignore my question about where she lives.

Was just trying to gauge really if she would know how to walk home or wouldn't be able to.

I have just received a call from the police and she has been found, cold but well. She’s currently with police being checked over by ambulance crew.

Thank you all so very much for all your help.

I don’t know if there is a way to update the title of this thread to make it clear she’s been found?

You could ask night watch they might be able to help ? @FindAzizaDaley put night watch into the search bar at top of page , you need the link for this thread , they might hide it till morning or br able to edit the title x

So glad she’s been found. Given the number of cctv cameras around central London, assume police would have been able to pick her up on them, acknowledging that it takes some time to trawl through the footage.

Apparently it was someone recognising her from social media posts ❤️
