Thankfully Aziza has been found. (Added by MNHQ at request of the OP)

https://www.standard.co.uk/news/london/west-end-theatre-seven-dials-cambridge-theatre-b1208650.html

My cousin Aziza went missing during a theatre trip in London with family yesterday. She has learning difficulties and I suspect just decided during the intermission that she wanted to leave and walked out without speaking to anyone.

She has no coat, phone, or money and it has now been more than 24 hours in freezing temperatures.

We are working closely with the police but would welcome any help in spreading the words in case someone remembers seeing her.

Here is the Met Police tweet if anyone is on Twitter/X and is happy to share for reach: x.com/metpoliceuk/status/1886133033230606604

@FindAzizaDaley St James's Park and Green Park..When the report says your Cousin loves open spaces Green Park was what immediately came to mind.

I’m in the area tomorrow so will keep a look out also

FindAzizaDaley · 02/02/2025 22:16

Thank you all so much. I am going to try and get a bit of sleep to start the search again tomorrow if she is not found safe overnight. I have made a note of all the advice on this thread and will be putting it in action first thing tomorrow.

I am waiting to receive publicity materials from the charity Missing People and will share on this thread as soon as I have them.

The kindness on this thread has been overwhelming, thank you

Hoping and praying for her

NotMilanese · 02/02/2025 22:19

Nearby churches? The one in Covent Garden has a quiet garden attached. There's also a small green space near Seven Dials a community garden. She may have slipped into a shop; bookstores are quiet--Foyles, Stanfords are nearby.

Newbie5652 · 02/02/2025 22:21

What a worry for you. I hope she's found soon and back home safe and warm

Sunseaandsand1 · 02/02/2025 22:21

It looks like your cousin is walking down Earlham Street. I was around the corner on Long Acre at the same time. It was busy as usual, the only which stands out was that at about 3.30/3.45 there were a couple of fire engines at the junction of Long Acre & Mercer Street. I’m sure it’s not related to your cousin missing but thought I’d mention it. I’m a Londoner & have shared the link to my local groups & some people I know who work with homeless people/hostels.

YourHappyJadeEagle · 02/02/2025 22:23

She couldn’t be hiding somewhere in the theatre? Maybe got overwhelmed and found somewhere to hide?
I hope she is found soon. X

RudbekiasAreSun · 02/02/2025 22:23

Have shared on Twitter / X. Really hope you get some good news soon.

butterflysandrobins · 02/02/2025 22:31

Bump! I really hope she is found safe and well soon. My son is autistic and non verbal and this is my worst nightmare.
Is she mentally 37 or younger? The reason I ask is because my son is 13 but has the mental age of 3.

YourHappyJadeEagle · 02/02/2025 22:33

Do local radio and TV stations put out appeals?

mumofoneAlonebutokay · 02/02/2025 22:33

I'm in east London but will repost on my twitter and tiktok.

I've got everything crossed that you will find her safe and sound. ❤️

Cutterbups · 02/02/2025 22:34

What a nightmare for you and the rest of your family Sad

I hope and and pray that your cousin is found very soon alive and well.

LadyLapsang · 02/02/2025 22:39

I hope your cousin is found safe very soon. Try Streetlink No Second Night Out on 0300 500 0914. You can report homeless people who appear to be newly homeless and they send out someone to look for them - I have done so in the past. Often you know the people who are on the street in a certain area so new people can stand out. Also, London Underground, TFL, soup kitchens and black cab drivers.
