I have just applied for a DLA tribunal appeal - does anyone know how long these usually take and how often they’re actually successful?

@zoeybrooks45i haven't received back pay or increase in payments yet. They are saying it 4 to 6 weeks and to call back in Jan. His claim is up for renewal again in may anyway so this could be short lived. I hope not but we all know how it goes x

Yes thank god. I was awarded beginning of March nearly two years from original scan date at tribunal. However no sign of back pay or letter from DWP. I have only recieved tribunal notice in the post. How long did it take for you to get backpay? From online it seems anywhere from 4-8 weeks.

I think it was about 7 weeks. Congratulations!! Finally got what your child deserves. When you are due for renewal then? X

I'm fuming with our situation at them moment, it's gone yo renewal and they have changed it back to original award even though tribunal was only 4 months ago.. everything is a fight. I hope yours goes better x

Yeah exactly similar too me they didn’t award it long enough. Kept it at original which is a year time for renewal. Super frustrating. I’m sorry to hear that. Have you started mandatory reconsideration?

I'm asking for it relooking at with late evidence. Not sure it will make a difference now
