On LBC he mentioned he spent all of yesterday outside a polling station in Pennsylvania, and today he was giving interviews 'ha ha haing' at various British journalists.

Is Parliament in recess? Why isn't he here, working as a MP?

None of them. Labour Party HQ sent staffers, because they are funded by the Labour Party, not government (taxpayers) coffers. That's entirely different from sitting MPs or civil servants (funded by taxpayers) campaigning. Wonder if the BBC will run a massive story about Nigel being over there campaigning. Parliament is sitting at the moment, and so I'd expect an MP to either be there, or serving their constituents, not flying to/from the USA.

It's obviously not illegal, but it's also not a great look for a working MP to be doing this. I presume he's dealt with all his casework in Clacton?
