@ThisIsMyYearToFindMyself Brickset is indeed fantastic.

For anyone wanting the Landrover jeep, it’s apparently stopping this year ☹️.

‘Tis a thing of beauty. Also it’s very pricey.

Just started building my Pretty Pink Flower Bouquet set and I’ve already noticed a piece missing! Had to order the missing piece from the LEGO website 😪

Were the pieces in the new style paper bags? Pieces get stuck in the corners quite a lot.

That particular Sainsbury's is in an area where Happy Plants would be an aspirational purchase. My solitary box is better sold early than shoplifted on official release!

We have the new & old landrovers. One built and one not (which is where DH annoys me)

If you have Tudor Corner and Corner Kiosk how are you displaying them? I finally got round to building the kiosk but I’m not sure how to display it and need some inspiration. I also need shelves as my sideboard is full.

On top of a dusty cupboard! Not much use, sorry. We have Lego in every room at this point, inc Duplo in the bath.

ReginaaPhalangee · 30/05/2025 13:47

I’m going to sell some of my more random sets of Lego, probably on Vinted!
sets will include the ukulele, Cinderella’s dress, the Disney villains dresses, the tiny colourful unicorn and flamingo.

You might find you get more for them on eBay. I sell on both (including Lego) and generally find Vinted worse. I like the ease of use though.

ReginaaPhalangee · 30/05/2025 14:13

Actually I won’t sell Lego, ill break it down and store it away for future use :)

Needmorelego · 30/05/2025 14:16

@ReginaaPhalangee it might be worth waiting until your sets are retired.
The ones you listed are still in the shops at the moment so unless you sell cheap people won't want to buy secondhand.
Unless you have a definite plan to build something specific I recommend breaking them down but keeping as sets for now.

Nice. I have the plum blossom in my wish list.

ThisIsMyYearToFindMyself · 30/05/2025 17:30

Have any of you bought big sets second hand from online shops? Do they literally count every piece? If there’s something missing and it’s brand new obviously you get a replacement, but I’m cautious of buying second hand due to this.

Dearover · 30/05/2025 17:34

There's no ending though why you couldn't request a replacement if you know the set number and piece

Needmorelego · 30/05/2025 17:42

@ThisIsMyYearToFindMyself buying secondhand is relying on trust that the pieces are there.
If you do need replacement parts you can buy directly from Lego via Bricks and Pieces or secondhand from the websites Bricklink or Brickowl.
I've used Bricklink a lot. I tend to stick to UK sellers as it's cheaper for postage and packaging but there's 100s of sellers on there so it's brilliant for when you need some random bits.

ThisIsMyYearToFindMyself · 30/05/2025 17:53

Thanks both. I guess I’m just thinking if I’ve paid £100 to find I need some random, expensive extra pieces then that might bump up the total price to a level I’m not happy with, that I wouldn’t have originally paid?

So for example I pay £100 including postage for a set from ten years ago. Then there’s bits missing and I need to spend another £20 including postage. But if I knew the total price was £120 I might have chosen differently, and bought a different set.

So it’s just a trust thing?

ThisIsMyYearToFindMyself · 30/05/2025 18:02

So for example I searched for an apple and got one from a UK seller for 4p, but then the postage is £3.59.
